I'm still bitter about Impulse. I bought a bunch of non-SD games through there that had to be repurchased through Steam when Impulse died. Not doing that again, not for Epic, not for anyone.
Fulgrymm
I don't know how much character can be added to something that is literally vast swatches of nothing punctuated by the occasional star system.
Incidentally, one of the reasons I won't use Epic is because I got burned by Impulse dying. I won't make that mistake again. Nothing to do with not caring about the game, I just learn from my mistakes is all.
It would be cool, but they said there would be 22 races to start, so that's 22 songs and 22 UIs that need to be created. I don't imagine Stardock has the budget for that.
I'll just wait for the release version to pop up on Steam. There's enough games in my backlog to keep me occupied that I don't need alpha access.
It does indeed look a lot like Elemental. I wonder if they're trying to be cheeky?
Megastructures would be pretty awesome, but possibly beyond the timeframe in which the game takes place. I think the closest we'll have to megastructures will be those Precursor worlds. Although GalCiv 4 could possibly introduce megastructure type stuff left behind by Precursors.
Fixing bugs before they even happen is my guess.
I will add my voice to the anti-scorched earth chorus.
Just tried with Internet Explorer. Same result. My account must be cursed.
I've tried Firefox, Edge, and Chrome.
Tried the link, still get the runtime error.
Tried again with Chrome in incognito and still got the server error in return.
I tried again with MS Edge and got the same result. But if it works for you then I don't know what the issue could be.
So, I am trying to update my avatar. It tells me I must use the Stardock Account page to update. Fine, but it takes me here when I follow through the hyperlink. This is what I see:
Solid state drives are the way to go for sure. All of those categories will be improved.
Such a thing already existed before, can't remember when it was removed. Sometime around Crusade maybe?
Get yourself WinRAR if 7zip is not liking it.
I can't say for sure, but Retribution might be predicated on the presence of one or more DLCs.
It becomes money now.
These artifacts, are they an expansion on the idea of the Precursor relics from the Lost Treasures DLC?
Could have been a real contender with Valve and Steam had you not sold it.
It's weird. Each successive post you make in this thread makes less sense than the one before it.
The manual is for the base game I think. A lot of stuff was changed in Crusade, so the manual might not be the best source of information.
Probably they would meet at the other end and undergo fusion.
