GC Not Cheating in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Much has been said about the game not cheating and the AI being just that good. If this is true then someone please explain to me how an AI can take a system and have no ships left at the time of cature. Then the next turn have 3 to 4 ships built there. I know they are built because I watch all ship movement nothing goes to the planet. ~SDC~

Unseen Bonuses in Strategies Stardock Forums

A couple questions. After playing the game on levels I should not have been :p I noticed some of the enemy ships had attack and defence bonuses well beyond mine. The thing is that even with all the planet improvements(shipyads, etc..) mine did not match. So seeing that there is no way to win unless you can compete in battle I restarted and choose as an ability the +50% hits and the +50% weapons. I though this would increase my att/def values but it did not. How does this rati
