1. If I pay the extra $20 for the limited edition, does that include the Elemental novel? I thought it was mentioned earlier that it did, but this doesn’t seem to be the case on the pre-order page or “unboxing” video. 2. If I buy the Kindle version of the Elemental novel, how do I get access to the 2nd “book version” campaign? Thanks!

This is a great idea. Normally I don't bother with the manual b/c I am too busy playing the new game. I end up reading the manual a few weeks later. An early release of the manual lets players get even more excited about the game!

Not sure if I missed this, but what day is the Elemental episode going to air? I don't really watch G4 shows but I'd set the DVR to record it to catch the Elemental highlights. Thanks in advance!

I am by no means a real modder. However, I was playing around with the professions and was able to tweak some values. I’ve included the part of the mod that you can use to get a “Spider Worshipper” profession (inspired from a fantasy novel series…hehe). The name is just a placeholder until I think of something better. Basically, rather than Sentinel units, you will start with three black widow spiders. Copy the below text

Here’s a quick UI suggestion that would be beneficial. At the least, it would save me (and likely others) a few unnecessary clicks. Currently, when clicking a city, you have a “city income” panel on the bottom right side. This displays gold, prestige, etc. What it doesn’t display is the “city resources.” For some reason, “city resources” is found on the bottom left side panel, and you only see

Look for blue or gray extra numbers/symbols on keys under the right hand... hold down the Fn key at the lower left to activate those. Keypad +/- should be included. I guess the + and - buttons are only with the key pad b/c it doesn't work with my laptop (it doesn't have a key pad). If anyone finds a way around this, please let me know!
1. Both "- and +" keys aren't changing the tool size for me. I'm looking into it to make sure it's nothing on my end. Try the + and - on the number pad (assuming you have a number pad).
I am playing on a laptop, and the + and - buttons aren't working for me either. I've even tried using control, shift, tab, etc. in conjunction with the + and - buttons, but nothing has worked.

A way to handle the city spam is to remove the “instant” upgrade of a city once it reaches X people. Perhaps a step could be added where you have to pay X amount of gold to implement the upgrade (call it infrastructure costs for more populace, etc.). To increase the emphasis on less but more powerful cities, you could make a vast number of the improvements occur after a city is upgraded cert

Besides the increase in aesthetic value, what would seasons add to the game? If seasons were implemented, it would be important to add some value to the seasonal changes. Perhaps each season could last several turns, and besides a slight change in graphics, the particular season would have an impact on spells. For instance, "winter" season would see a bonus to ice-based spells, "summer" season increases fire-based spells, etc.

I like the concept of 10 schools of magic. If you allow sovereigns to start/pick 2-3 books at the beginning, it adds a significant amount of diversity to the game. The way you play a particular sovereign would drastically change depending on your spell books and the shards you then acquire. The idea combines an increased diversity of spell books while maintaining the importance of element shards. I think it would add a lot to the game.

I think there should be more interplay with shards and their particular spell book. In my opinion, if I have a spell book of a particular element, and two or more shards of that element, that should almost always give the spell a boost. For instance, a sovereign with a fire spell book and 2 fire shards should get a multiplier to the spell, per shard (Ex. Fireball spell with 2 fire shards = (Int/3 fire damage *2), with 3 fire shards it would be (Int/3 fire damage *3). Clearly the m
