Hi Phillip, (Assuming thats your name) It is possible to create (or atleast modify) the current game files to change everything, however not add a new scenario. If you check out my UK mod, you will see that I have done just that, adding new scenario to the game (but replacing the USA scenario). I am waiting with hope that they will add scenario support in the future. But no, Not currently possible. Sorry.

Hi, :) This question has been asked a lot already, but the answer is no, not in that way. If you own 2008 it is possible to transfer them over, but if you don't own it, stardock have asked that people don't upload the stats of the characters that they previously made. You could always try making the characters yourself :)
You need to upgrade your buildings when you have the money. It May just be that He has more oney and he upgrades his when your not looking. Also what difficulty are you on?

I'm actually only just going in to my first year of University, and I have changed from Politics and Law to Political and social Sciences, because the course focused more on what I'm interested in. As far as I'm concerned, this "modding" is very simple and basic compared to the lengths modders go to in other games, I have no where near the skill level required that some modders have to introduce new aspects into games, such as introducing new weapo

Yeah at the moment you can't add a new endorsement normally, because there is only the room on the panel for the ones you've got, also there is a few other bits you'd have to change in the xml file to add another working endorsement. But seriously it wouldn't work without accessing the main code. I could probably put together a hack, but imho the number of available endorsements is the best for balance, the more endorsements there are, the less they matter if that makes sense;

Progress update: We are go, Confirmation from stardock that I can release this mod, combined with testing coming to an end. There are just a few more things to do.
Just a tip if you haven't tried it, go on your steam library, right click, go properties, and in the local files tab (i think) there is a "verify integrity" button. Do that. You might be missing a few of the config files, which would crash the game but would allow it to start. Hope you get this sorted, its a good game

Stardock would prefer people to not port over a whole scenario and upload it on the internet. Although, if you own 2008, you can do it yourself. If you need some help, send me a PM and I'll point you in the right direction :)

Before you start editing or adding, just copy your file somewhere, like your desktop, as a backup, and then edit the file in your folder like normal. It is well worth modding if you think there is something missing. Editing is definitely easier, because you don't have to deal too much with the xml format. but with the guide above, adding a new issue is pretty much as easy as editing one. if you have any trouble, send me a private message and i

Just to weigh in to the debate. I'd have a proportional system, that doesn't require all the electoral seats of each state to go to the same party. Therefore you could have states that are split down the middle with votes, especially the battleground states. this would also mean that if you live in a safe seat of the opposite party, your vote isn't wasted.
