It's like Obama is the dems' very own Bush and Reagan, the all mightly polarizing figures of the right! It's much more than "neocons" that are upset with this bill.
I know. Big health care companies, insurance companies CEOs, CFOs and COOs and GTFOs too. Those people need their feathers ruffled. I would say plucked too.
Jon Stewart leans far left, but he is smart about it. Once in a while he calls out one of his own, which is more than you can say about the truly far left.
Jon Stewart is moderate. Glenn Beck is not. Or he is a very good stage performer. Jon Stewart is anything but far left. It's an interesting phenomenon that occurred in the USA, probably since 911 and since Bush took power. People shifted rather quickly to the far right. Pat Buchanan was considered far. Now, he's barely an extremist, he's a "fairly centered" one now. People who are really fair and don't take sides are called Far Left, while the truly far right are called neutral, "fair and balanced". Maybe it has something

Anyone seen the movie zeitgeist? In one part they mention how the federal reserve was just a a racket ring of big banking thugs who conned the us government into signing them into law, and that they basically are a private-owned, not federal, monopoly on people's wealth. Now, I dont know if all of that is true, maybe not all, after all, it's an internet distributed movie. But i dont think it's all 100% horsecrap either.

I noticed the abrupt topic lock as well..... it's been a year and a half give or take since I came to the forums, and I've begun to notice that certain forms of craziness get a lock with increadible alacrity while others fester for weeks and eventually die off due to lack of interest. Doesnt matter the freemarket rethoric, silly american patriotism, and "liberal left wacko" namecalling, the health of people should not be another asset subject to the laws of market supply and demand. Why stop there, let's privatize education, police force, defense, everything. That's why health care systems in Canada, Europe and other countries are much better than the profit-driven one from the good ole U S of A.
