KG - ....the default download folder in the Stardock Folder is not created when you update SDC. If you create a folder in the Stardock folder and name it 'Download' they will download properly to that folder. you can't change that on some proggies unless you change it thru the Registry....might be easier to just disable running apps in OD

C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\Download. In SDC settings you can change the file to anything you want....

I'm not a great believer in un-install/re-install processes, but in this case, since no one else seems to have the same problem, it might be the way to go........

Go to https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp log in and then try SDC again while you still have IE running

Click on 'Edit Stardock Account' (while you're there make sure info is right) click ok and then re-start SDC. For some reason in the past, that sometimes jump starts the proggie. You can also switch your connection and see if that server lets you in.

Yeah, I have the same thing. Since WC Browser doesn't have any (and never has) and IE site shows the correct number my guess is that T-Man ran out of daylight....maybe tomorrow

If you're sure you found it and you're not faint of heart playing with the registry right click on the entry and export to a temp folder. You then delete the entry in the registry. You might have to re-boot to see effect. If it doesn't work or causes other problems double click your saved .reg file and it will return entry to original settings. Sounds like they put a registry key in (how considerate). You'll probably have to do a search on the HP forums to get the answer (or do a search in registry if you feel daring). You can't be the only one that wants to get rid of it.

This is like the startup from hell...........make sure OD shortcut shows in 'Startup" folder in the Start menu and go back into 'msconfig' and check OD to start on startup.
