I like a lot of the ideas in this thread, and we'll definitely look in to some of them, so feel free to keep posting your suggestions.

Believe me when I say there is nothing overwhelming or crushing about how I play, but to please the community I'll put myself on the line anyhow.
Got picked up by Kotaku too, http://kotaku.com/5373331/stardock-boss-hauls-off-on-games-for-windows-live . I love that they start off the whole article with a comment on Brad's "defense" of Glenn Beck. That's some "good" "reporting" from a "serious" news source.

Crazy combination of cute and deadly....and weird that wildlife photo-shoots are just happening on random michigan roads When I picture exotic petting zoo's and photo shoots Michigan isn't the first spot that comes to mind, no. Down here in central Florida we have all the big theme parks. Bush Garden
Unsure how many other devs would be able to join in, but I'm sure LikeTheWhirlwind and I can hop on for a few games sometime next week after normal work hours. Probably closer to 8 PM EST, but I'll get you more specifics before then.
I'm not saying it's an impossible technology, once you can control systems that let you move at relativistic speeds launching missiles into a ship, or a planet, or a moon, or just some dude floating in space probably isn't terribly hard. I'm just saying I can understand why the initial design didn't take ground based defenses into consideration. This may be something we could look into for the future, but for now diplomatic additions are probably going to be our primary concern.
Quoting MasonOfSparta, reply 50and feel them fruit loops and such. I think I'll leave the "feeling of the fruits" to you professionals Unless I get to feel some melons. hehe I know, you meant to say "feed them fruit loops and such". I just couldn't resist. . If I ever get up that way again I'll definitely check that out.
Awwww... I meant feed. Sigh at fat fingers.
Sadly I meants "owns" in the internet sense, and not that I actually own them. It was a black bear ranch near Newberry Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula. I highly recommend it should any of you be passing through, for a small donation you can get pictures like I did, and feel them fruit loops and such.
I think the average gamer is like 36, according to a study I may or may not have ever read. Me hanging out with some black bears in northern Michigan, which owns by the way.
Man, I vote yes on Dungeon Keeper.
I could imagine a future where space bourne weapons are the natural defense against space bourne threats. I believe that's how it is in universes like Halo, for example. I imagine the trip through the atmosphere alone would cause a lot of logistical problems for ground based weaponry, though I'm no ballistics expert.
I could be wrong, but I don't think we've put out any kind of public date for testing yet. Rest assured that when we can tell you a solid date, we will.
I can understand some frustration from the part of a fan who loses hope that things will be implemented, after all we're all gamers here at Stardock, but rest assured that we're out to please and will certainly implement ideas that we think are good and feasible.
IM THE JUGGARNAUT B***H!!!! lmao
I should've seen that coming in retrospect.
We'll probably go ahead and try to tweak some things during beta, and get some better feedback then.
I definitely like the idea of adding a "Cheater" AI, that would just be gross. I was also tossing about the idea of a "Juggernaut" AI that would start off with a small fleet, some research, typical AI bonuses, etc, with the idea that it'd be meant for one real hardcore player or several friends to take on. None of this is final, keep in mind, but I like the discussion of new ideas.
Ha, I'd play, though I'm honestly not that good.
