I agree he is a centrist and possibly to the right of center slightly but right wing is not accurate. Which brings up another point. The left right political spectrum doesnt have much relevance as far as im concerned. It does not accurately describe any political position or any one persons political beliefs.
well, yeah, "conservative vs. liberal" is over-simplified, there is also libertarian and statist (or something like that.) So you end up with a x,v

the science isn't settled because you say it isn't. Never mind what the majority of the actual scientists say.
True, but then again, we're the ones starting all the fights (:
Always consider the source of information. If science is loosing credibility it is only because people are trying to swiftboat it. The information you originally refd. is flawed, stolen, and taken out of context. Also, a surprising amount of the sites you reference seem to get their funding from (or are owned by,) republican leaning interest groups; which leads me to believe that they are, in fact, politically biased as well. Assuming that I am mistaken about that, I still see very few reference
Scientific fact is not opinion. I'll believe those who know better than me*. *In their area of expertise.
China. China would win.
forums going boom....
I cant imagine how Obama could be right wing. That doesnt make even the slightest sense.
American politics as a whole is very (very very) "right wing," thus even the most "liberal" politicians are often only middle of the road at best. Sure, there are a few uber-left wingers, but they usually don't ever get elected. Obama is to the right of center; ask any political professor and they could explain it much better than I could. I think one is something like tiltTowardsTarget, or something along those lines... but its not working. *Ah, finally got it, tiltForward. Are there any others though?
I know that this can let me tilt some star destroyer to wreck face, but I've forgotten the other values. Can anybody help me out?
yes Planetary defenses are getting some new research levels,
woot!
Just the shear amount of power over the masses via easy media with a bit of political brainwashing, and a side of poor education, means that we're pretty f*cking screwed; from a poor laymans pov. You guys are lucky enough to have a decent education and a bit of social mobility. Yet I never seem to hear any sort of care about whats going to be happening to the next 5 generations or so... sure, we might be able to get away with a little bit more environmental rape, but we don't really need to d
ok, good!
Hm, I have a more believable conspiracy theory: Your mom! But seriously, you're joking right? That makes no sense at all. It'd be more believable if the story was blown out of proportion or skewed by people with republican interests. I'm mean c'mon, the democrats are a bunch of pansies who can't get their shit together; the last thing they want is to damage their reputations (as a whole) by "leaking" as story that could seriously mess things up for them come next electi
woot! Tanks mon!
I tried playing the AI horde map last night, but the spawing is still off for the player character. for some reason the player is stuck with the player1 slot, whereas it should be player0; idk, I just whiched the owner numbers for the homeworlds and that fixed it. I was wondering though, how can I change the map to make the zoom opacity "normal"? I can't figure it out ): edit: nvm,
just use the dev.exe...
Man says he inside, Everyone else says he is outside, And he is tripping balls.
I know that this has been brought up and explained befure, but the search function is sub-par. So sorry in advance. Is there anyway to allow the militia of planets to create/spawn ships? I think this would have to do with the GalaxyScenarioDef file (for starters,) but I'm unsure of the mechanics of it. They already have resources, so is there a way to allow them to utilize them? Possibly with a structure which, for a price, spawns a certain amount of supply points worth of ship? This
which is another thing we're considering changing for the next patch for diversity. The reason the max levels is limited to 1 at the moment is we dont want the ability to be overpowered so everything is being tested by you guys to see how balance goes and then we'll possibly add more levels to it later if it proves to be well balanced.
Coolness! One last thing I found was that the (phase) starbase phase gate ability doesn't have stars as a targetable enti
Oh, and the researchable levels for phase out fighters is screwy too. I can't seem to get it to work past 3 lvls, when I try to go the whole hog it just starts dumping...
GUYS!!! For pete's sake, didn't your fathers ever teach you the golden rule?! You can't argue with an idiot.
