How about the alt-tab crashes? They happen very often, for a lot of people, in any situation. But god knows you're not gonna reply again.
Coma
Seems like Frogboy has abandoned us. Nothing for a while now.
People are just too ignorant. There are even some who don't wanna play with anyone that has over 60ms. I kept getting kicked over and over in one US game (I'm from the EU), joining each time to try to explain that my 240ms isn't going to lag the game. Finally they let me stay, and indeed it didn't lag... Nice name btw Kokujin. From the "dark" side, and living in Japan? :P
of course they are. so is watching tv, eating junk food, smoking pot ect ect. you shouldnt really need a science project to figure this one out. if you say otherwise you are just lying to yourself.
Social norms dictate that: Good: Eternally participating ONLY in social activities, physical activities, and work. What you work as doesn't matter, because it falls within
I reproduce alt-tab crashes for personal enjoyment, and it almost feels as if I'm being ignored for personal enjoyment.
Fuck off you dopey little cunt stain. Complain somewhere where they give a flying fuck about your pathetic little issues. No wonder we are going to be getting less support now. Its because of wankers like yourself who seem to have an attitude that pisses everyone off. Now thats over and done with,
Not really arguing, just point out that the reason your mostly unhappy with the online statistics is because they don't support what could be perceived as a negative view of the amount of players that online at any one point.
How about instead of making stupid assumptions about me and pretending to have psychoanalytic ability, you consider what I said? The count doesn't make sense.
I guess I shouldn't bother (graphing) then.
The opengames.asp count being way inflated and games not being removed from the list? That apparently happened due to some database changes. I imagine it's not literally a database change (at least it's not JUST a database change) and involved changes in the server software's database management part, which would account for the server not removing games which are over.
Quoting comanoodle, reply 6Except it doesn't drop below 1.2k, ever. I think something else is wrong with it. Why is something wrong? Because it doesn't drop to zero and activate a dialogue which reads "ZOMG NO1 IS PLAYING TEH GAMEz!!1!"?
I never said it had to drop to 0, but dropping to 1000 would be nice... But you knew that and you're just arguing.
How could
http://coma.norikumi.com/demigod-stats/demigod-stats.txt I was collecting stats to graph the population, but I'm not sure they're reliable anymore. It only checks every hour, but it's good enough. It's unlikely it dropped below 1200, and the numbers still don't make sense. Am I supposed to people that at any one time, there are at least 1200 people with Demigod open on the Custom Games screen or something? Maybe I should change it to check every 30 seconds, and after two days
Except it doesn't drop below 1.2k, ever. I think something else is wrong with it.
lol, nice nick. Very... dark, if you get what I mean.
Yes, I think that's it. And personally, I feel that it's just right. I actually have a chance to get away from certain situations where it would otherwise prove impossible to get away from, even if I survived a whole minute while running away.
...and to think Frogboy refused to acknowledge something might be wrong with the page. Instead, he tried to rationalize... Brace yourselves for 200 online players.
It's now 48k. http://coma.norikumi.com/demigod-stats/demigod-stats.txt - some stats. It never, ever dropped below 1.3k, and has been increasing since 3PM UTC.
You mention switching to Fire then back to Ice. Does the fire aura last a while after you switch, or what? I'm confused.
So wait, you only enjoy games you are winning? That isn't the games problem buddy that is your problem.
I'm thinking the games he enjoyed were the two very close ones... among which one was a loss.
I just locked a flag, and as it was ending two opponents came. I was playing QoT so I managed to survive until it vanished from the flag (my cooldown was over about 5 sec earlier... and for the record, I escaped too :P), then locked it again and it stayed for the full duration. There were about 2 seconds between the graphic disappearing and me locking it again.
Yes, but the data provided is based on choices people have made, so it's already been taken into account... assuming the majority of people aren't stupid. Anyway, assuming the chance for a single QoT to be found in any one game (which means out of 10 slots too, which would be higher than 6 slots) is 7.02%, then the chance for a QoT to be present out of 6 slots is (using the Bernoulli probability formula): k (successes) = 1 n (attempts) = 6 Probability(1 success
0.42Mbps up is ~52KBps. It's probably a port forwarding issue. Also, the OS may never send the packets out into the network if the IP is identical, and just throw them back to you. Try tracerouting your own Internet IP, and you'll see it never leaves your computer.
Yup. Makes me rage, since it's evidential they don't REALLY care.
i think this game just needs to be advertised a lil more in australia dont think many ppl no about it as of yet
Poor you. I saw you looking for aussies for a long time.
I agree. They don't seem to be willing to listen, though. The game would appear to function so much better if this change was made. You can only imagine why Frogboy didn't push this change ASAP... I wonder why they even did it this way in the first place. Seems an incredibly stupid thing to do.
I don't think he's asking for a refund, he's just saying it's possible. For some reason he seems to think we don't know.
