Could some one please help me on this... I love this game, but I really made a mess of it... I learned how important it is to make a backup though... even if someone could tell me how to completly delete everything so I can reinstall it with out it reverting back to my stupid edits? A few montha ago I stopped playing the game, then a while ago my g/f started playing and as a practicle joke I edited some of the state information files to make it impossible for a democrat to win... I made a bakeup copy before hand, but now I cannot find it and I want to play the game again. I want to edit some of the pre-existing characters to make the 1860 campaign "more realistic" I use quotations because I want to have Jefferson face of against Lincoln, which in itself is unrealistic... anyway, when I use Jefferson on the 1860 campaign his home state is the New Mexico Territory and he has no stance on any issue. I want to change this because this campaign, issue wise, is more accurate for characters such as Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln etc. To guess where any of
