Failed horribly at customizing the game files - need some help fix it

A few montha ago I stopped playing the game, then a while ago my g/f started playing and as a practicle joke I edited some of the state information files to make it impossible for a democrat to win... I made a bakeup copy before hand, but now I cannot find it and I want to play the game again.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but the state information didnt change, so I deleted every game file, then uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still not look... So I was hoping someone could tell me what the states Lib/Cons/Mod and Left/Right/Ind stats should be - or if its easier send me a copy of the files and I will cut and paste them.

Could some one please help me on this... I love this game, but I really made a mess of it... I learned how important it is to make a backup though... even if someone could tell me how to completly delete everything so I can reinstall it with out it reverting back to my stupid edits?

I would really appreciated it... maybe considering giving you my first born lol.

I've got four duaghters . . so I'm good.

Delete the file you edited. Launch Impulse.  Right click on the game and choose the verify option.
