O-K Neil I'll give this a try for a while. I'm completly friggin' lost without OD! I don't even keep a recycle bin on my desktop so I had to make a few shortcuts first but it won't let me make one for WB said wb.url has been changed or moved. Do I need to make a quicklaunch button for this before closing Object Dock? ALL my shortcuts were on it and I should try different skins.

Final score for the weekend: Five crashes in five hours of uptime with windowblinds on, with or without backgrounds.Twice on mouseover of Object dock, ,three times same as before.Did not crash with aero desktop restored after 10 hours of use, no matter what was running. The black box goes away after reloading or unloading WB, which it does flawlessly evry time. Any help would be welcome, tho it's more of an annoyance than a problem.Been "married" to this HP/ Vista rig for three months. I think th
Well, that didn't take long. At 12:30am EST:IE7,winamp in radio mode, and WB (with explorer backgrounds on) in use, I clicked on show desktop next to start button and got explorer to crash.I did this again at 1:03 am.Crash. Tried 10 times after that but no crashes, got a vista sized headache thinking about it, went to bed. All transparency and color settings where at default settings. CPU usage read 15%. 68% free ram. Maybe someone else can duplicate this.I'm using Vista Home Basic,AMD64,nVidia615
I don't have deskscapes, Just WB and Object Dock. It seems to occur the most when moving the curser from window to window or to the taskbar, regardless of what is in use,if that makes sense.Oddly enough it hasn't happened since my last post, but I'll use the backgrounds and several windowblinds over the weekend and see what happens. ;p
Here's mine. This has been happening so often I thought it was normal. Seemed worse if I used the new explorer background feature. Also in regards to #11 Tronnix and Alienware Xenomorph both leave a blue shadow where the close button used to be if you close with it.It stays untill you reskin or reboot Your computer has a Windows Experience Index base score of 3 Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 3.1 WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.1 (build 85 x86 - Vista Ed
Thanks Zubaz Member since 2/8/08 Best $20 I ever spent, thanks to all the incredible people both here and at Stardock. Have a great day!
Wizard wants! I didn't see these in Theme Manager, with the other two. Where do I download it and R.I.P 2007 from? Wizard likes Winky! Please help a new guy out, thanks.
With Vista Home Basic I unzip to my desktop and in WB config I select add skins/ install from file on my computer then select desktop (or whatever location you've unzipped to)works every time. I've tried placing them in the Windowblinds folder manually but it doesn't always recognize them. Hope this helps you out, I'm new here too,so if there is a better way, I don't know it yet. I hope you enjoy WB's as much as I have! Good Luck and have fun!
Windowblinds alone is worth the $50 What talent! What imagination! What a crazy bunch! Support the skinning community, help keep 'em off the streets. LOL
