Thank you all so much, it is appreciated more than you know.
You DID notice my absences, right? I've been off and on the boards for a few weeks, but maybe not enough to notice my absences. You DID notice my absences, right? RIGHT? [e digicons][/e] Anyhoo, so I had a little surgery,...... no, not the plastic kind but kinda close. They took out a cancerous lymph node in my neck that was wrapped around my trachea and when the biopsy comes back we'll see about chemo (again..
The movies don't bother me, day or night. I don't watch slasher movies though. Too close to what can happen in real life! Ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties and things that go bump in the night don't bug me either, considering that up until about a year and a half ago I lived in a haunted house.....really. Lights came on and off, doorbell rang a
This is the reason I've not used my Win 7 disc that they sent me when I bought this Vista machine. I've heard over and over that PSP 8 won't work with Win 7 64 bit. And I wonder about Animation Shop, too. So, should I go ahead with the upgrade, or just run my Vista restore disc to fix the inevitable glitches? [e digicons]:maybe:[/e] [e digicons]:|[/e]
Quoting MouseGoddess, reply 28I don't have fishermen's boots, would fish net stockings work? Dunno, to be honest. Maybe I'd have a better idea if you posted a photo of self wearing said stockings. Also, and I'm not sure if this would help with static or not... but.... um.... do you have any kinky rubber underwear to go with said stockings?
No, not rubber......
So, does anybody have an easy way to go from Vista to Win 7? AND, does anybody know how reliable Microsofts list of apps that will and won't work in 7 is? I've heard some say the list has such-and-such on it but it still worked in 7 for them.
My laptop has been getting pretty hot lately (I actually have three blisters on my leg where it rested). I'm afraid the fan has gone out, but sometimes I can still feel air coming out as always. It may be choked with dust. So how do I blow clean a laptop?

I usually do a logon for Halloween. Can I still just do it on my own like always? Unless someone requests me to make it for a community thingy....I'd be glad to help.
MouseGoddess I've not found any way to get deskscapes and fences to work together either. Not in XP, not in windows 7. Because ODP takes care of my icons, I let go of fences and kept deskscapes.
Thanks for the info. I was afraid of that!
No, everything was secure. I un-installed it and now I'm wondering if that download was corrupted some way. Maybe I should try it again? Of course, it wouldn't be the first Stardock program I've had that doesn't work for me. Sound Packager never has .... on a couple different laptops, too. It's an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650, running Windows Vista Premium 64 bit, 6G RAM. Everything is up to date. I even recently flashed the BIOS! I have a Windows Experience rating of 5. I can't think of anything else, let me know if I forgot something. [e digicons]|-)[/e]
I downloaded the Deskscapes free version, and I really liked the two wallpapers I got to work. Then, disaster struck! I had a blank screen with a tiny black box right in the middle. The program kept crashing, so I re-booted. That fixed the screen, but Fences was gone! I had icons all over the place, running wild! I had to un-install Deskscapes to get Fences to work again. I liked Deskscapes, but I LOVE Fences! Is there any way to get them to co-exist in
I couldn't live without Windowblinds. I'd be over run with desktop icons again without Fences, but I really love Cursor FX......can I have three?
I lurked around for a bit before signing up...that was finally on June 22, 2002. I came to check out this interesting program called Windowblinds that I heard about from a email newsletter I used to to get called LockerGnome . [e digicons]:digichet:[/e]

Thanks for the encouragement to keep going, I can use it......one problem I have is I work with PSP8, kinda dated, but no money for newer graphics programs. And some of those new ones are so complicated! I don't think I could learn to use them.! [e digicons]:O[/e]
Looking at your screenshot there appears to be something wrong with your digital Nexus clock module, by the way. My guess is that the font required to display the time in it was not installed properly for some reason. Try downloading the full version from the Winstep web site again and re-installing it *on top* of your current version (this will not affect your current settings). Don't forget to exit all running Winstep applications

Well, it seemed to be pretty popular in the LogonStudio and Bootskin forms.....I NEVER do wallpapers but thought this would be something the folks would enjoy.
I have a question that I PM'ed my favorite Mod with, but he isn't in that department so he told me who to ask, and I PM'd one of them and didn't get an answer, so I'm just going to post it here and see what I get. I submitted my Night and the Hunter screen as a wallpaper because it has a good sized area of black sky that works well with desktop icons. And since it has been so popular as a Logon for me and as a Bootskin for inthebloodofeden, I figured it would be a well rec
