The simple answer is that God doesn't exist.Or, perhaps Satan works in really obvious ways to make you think God doesn't exist. Is it just me or doesn't it seem easier to blame Satan rather than dealing with having our beliefs being challenged?
I have found, even as a believer in God, that questioning makes [many] people unnervingly uncomfortable. But, I personally don't believe that I mustn't question or even challenge. <a id=
The better question would be asked by me: Why am I here? Here where I have so much that I did nothing for. Why is it that I am not one of the ones with nothing and I, through no merit of my own, recieve so much stuff that I can become physically sick from eating, when there are people dying? The answer is this: God uses the Church for his commandments, and the faith and obedience of the Church is His physical influence in
I believe that God does care. Unfortunately, God's timeline isn't always on the same timeline we are. http://www.unityonline.org/prayer/articles/findingRightEmployment.html
Thanks, locamama. Now THAT was both insightful AND helpful. This is the kind of response that I appreciate...one that recognizes and validates my feelings and offers reassurance

Does God really care? I find myself at a crossroads in life [professionally], in which I want to know if God is truly interested. In our quiet time together this morning, my wife read to me an excerpt in which the author wrestled with this very question. Is He interested in me personally? Or is He busy with “real” problems? My issue is nominal next to people in foreign countries who wonder if they will eat today, who wonder if they will be murdere
who is going to care if you get ripped off! hahahaa.
She probably sold them on the Antiques Road Show for like a grand, and the joke would be on me...except, I'll always have the story, which is...priceless!!!

True story... I had a garage (okay, living room) sale (I didn't have a garage) once. I had two very heavy, and very UGLY brass lamps I "inherited" from my grandmother. (You know how it it when you're starting out...you get everyone's leftovers.) So, I decide to add these two lamps to the sale, and I put up a sign in between the lamps...$30. This one particularly rude shopper (probably the SAME lady from your story) is perusing my goods bitching about this and that trying to barter ever

I’ve added a new curse word to my vocabulary: “weed eater.” After yesterday’s attempt at manicuring my lawn and subsequent outbursts, I’m confident that Webster would readily incorporate its usage into American slang alongside its other entries usually rese

I might actually tune in to the debates if Izzy were included. Is she running as a democratic donkey, a republican elephant, or as an independent koala? Either way...count her as a write-in on my ballot! Are you ready to be the "first-mommy" since there won't be a "first lady" when she wins in a landslide (she'll at least carry Texas and Hawaii)!

Right now, my insides feel like the computer desktop screensaver with the pipes that twist and turn at all angles in a breakneck pace. While I stare blankly at the onscreen pipes that overwhelm my senses, my innards twist and flail with contradictory feelings that overcome my sensibilities. I’m trying to understand my feelings but keeping pace with the thoughts that

Our home is adorned with clocks. (If you know me and you've been to our home, you know what I mean...as I sit here on the couch already tired from a lost hour of sleep, I am within view of seven clocks. We have big clocks, little clocks, wall clocks, clocks on stands, digital clocks, analog clocks, clocks with arabic numerals, clocks with roman numerals (Did you know that all roman numeral clocks use IIII instead of IV?) , not to mentio
