What the poster of this thread shows is an utter miss-understanding of why Stardock is here. Microsft over-sold with Ultimate and underdelivered, Stardock is doing what they were contracted to do and if they put out a premium dream they should be compensated for it. I fail to see how a pretty interface can't be changed in other ways, I think Vista gives Stardock even more to work with, not less. Just my 2 cents.

travlingtexanman, Well said, the problem I have is unlocking or coming out of sleep mode, some scenes don't come back and crash. I'm back to static on my laptop and dreamscene runs fine on my home system since it doesn't sleep. It would be nice if Microsoft's team would actually post something, heck just say hi, we are still here working, be patient, something is better than nothing.

"If I don't swing the camera around the earth, you can't see the differences between day and night as the sun would always be in the same place." TheMasterBaron, I know, sometimes this can be a good thing.

Take TheMasterBaron's Earth, toss it into the Desktop Earth dynamic Dream and throw in some crisper star backgrounds and have the clouds move, I'd be much happier than I am now with Desktop Earth. Having said that, I know better dynamic dreams are coming and I'm sure Stardock is reading and taking notes. TheMasterBaron, if you could static the image so the Sun, the Moon and the Earth all did their thing, the Earth rotating, the Moon rotating and the same with the Sun only all i

Dreamscene is BETA right now, the released version will render using the graphics card plus it's been mentioned several times that the video card companies need to do a better job with their drivers. Specifically Nvidia even though I feel ATI needs work as well.

I've found that, even the latest Intel video chipsets, including that used in the 945GM chipset (the GMA950) is horrible, anything that requires shared system memory to meet a spec should be avoided at all costs. If you buy a system meant to use Vista Ultimate you'd think the system would be more robust. I know the 950 meets minimum specs but as this person is finding out you get what you pay for. I for one up front had a complaint a few days ago, which it turns out was baseless and I can admit when I'm wrong. I purchased the Blissfull dream and I'm glad I did, I'll also purchase any other good dreams Stardock puts out. Keep up the good work! Hopefully CPU usgae can be looked at by the driver companies or Microsoft since they made the claims up front.

Everyone take deep breath and relax. Remember, text doesn't always communicate as well as voice. I always assume that the other people in the forums are not assholes even when experience tells me otherwise. It makes everyones life better. I meant to add a smiley face after my last post, ops, agreed some

to comment on animated wallpapers I should comment on them in the skins area... so what is the animated wallpaper area for? The forum is more for general discussion, questions about or problems with DreamScene ,Stardock DeskScapes / Animated walls. If you look at the comments you will see that Frogboy (Brad, CEO of Stardock) and at least 3 other Stardock reps, 2 of whom are developers had replie

Frogboy, ok, maybe I need to check for newer drivers for my laptop but the grass seems a little out of focus or maybe it's just not very detailed. Either way it does look very cool and I'm looking forward to more, maybe in higher dev.

Check the date time stamp for those when IE shows those sites visited. Then find out who was using your computer at that time. IE doesn't track sites that haven't been visited. I had a user at my office insist on the same thing, but the proxy shows his computer had visited those sites. So maybe you didn't visit them but somebody did. Here is a Google for different ways to delete them, cccleaner should work fine as well. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=delete+all+histo
