@MadDeez - those games links are "special" links unfortunately and I'm still looking for a workaround to get them to work. However if you give this a try it will work... run the game you want in your Bin, and then just drag its running icon into the bin. Should be all set! @All, regarding the pricepoint! So while there were a good number of people finding Bins worth the $20, I've decided I'm going to be refunding those people who preordered (=preorderers got

RedneckDude- you can turn it off by holding control+shift while right-clicking the tray icon (Exit Bins option at bottom). I don't have it as a more primary thing due to the large number of "it broke my taskbar" reports I was getting with early on testing, people wondering why their binned shortcuts weren't showing up on their taskbar after exiting :-S I now have it that it offers to re-pin those shortcuts on uninstall, but, right. Is there a reason you're looking to just&

Hi Bottletop, I believe we have this fixed in the latest version now available on Impulse. Give it a try and let us know? Thanks!

Yes this got mixed up at some point. Not sure how that file worked its way out! But anyhow, this has been fixed for the next Free & Pro releases :) Thanks for reporting!

Hrm. Might be the multi-mons. If you feel comfortable editing the registry, please try this and see if it helps... In the key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Fences", add a new 32-BIT DWORD value named "UseLegacyQuickhide" (without quotes), and make it equal "1" (0x00000001). Restart your computer (or just explorer, or log out and back in)... and give it a shot. Let me know how it goes for you, thanks!

Hi Aredhel, Unfortunatly while the problem may have seemed to coincide with the installation of your Proxy, the integrity validation checks are based completely on the integrity of Fences' program files. If Fences EXE/DLL files are not properly signed (which can happen if something else modifies them on disk), this message will show and the program will not function. Fences does not self-update nor does the check-for-updates relate to this integrity-checking mechanism. I recommend try
and what about making icons reflective?? wasnt that supposed to be in v2
For zooming docks only certain skins have reflection. May be adding option whereby you could add a configurable reflection to existing skins / tweak the reflections on skins that already have them.

Missoctavia: If you have not yet rebooted after installing OD2, could you please try doing so? If you already have, do the icons show up when you click to "show all tray icons"? To clerify, the problem is that certain icons show up in the list for choose-icons, but then do not show up in the tray itself. Correct?

Mirsguy: And I'm honored that you choose to create such great skins for our dock program! :) You're correct, dock icons should be able to go down to 16x16 for systray purposes ; mod made for next update. Regarding the right panel of the start menu... sadly this might be the reality. Unless I figure out some way to hack it further, when moved even a pixel from its original location, something is hardcoded into the new Win7 start menu where the background no longer draws on the right ha

Hi Missoctavia, Hit the "Settings" tab near the top of the UI, you'll find a checkbox to "hide windows taskbar". If you're looking to change what is on your dock (tray/taskbra/etc), you'll want to go to the "On My Dock" settings category for the dock in question, and look in the 3rd column. There's a link for "Enable taskbar / system tray".

Hi, 1- We've had some complaints of this, however to this date have been unable to reproduce in order to diagnose and repair. we are however taking the issue seriously & acknowledge there is some sort of a problem - as soon as we can figure out what is happening there we will fix! 2- have you tried during on auto-arrange or align-to-grid on the desktop? if either of those are set, new icons won't be created underneath fences. if they are, let us know.

Yikes - Ok, CPU issue was indeed a problem on XP systems; thanks to the help of users sending in their debug log we were able to figure out what happened! Please give Fences an update using Impulse to the new version released today and see if that helps. Thanks...
