Me also, my Sub expires near the end of June... I wonder if anyone other than us two, (meaning "Rumour Control" or whatever StarDock calls Support & Information nowadays), will post to this topic before then ??? X-(

*Can't edit* so, forgot one very classy Lady Skinner.... KittyMalone
My twopennys worth, SK Originals and Mike Bryant (WB), Messiah1 and Webgizmo (OD), PuterDude (DX). :CONGRAT:
As you should know all too well Kitty... everyone is entitled to THEIR opinion. Good Post UnhappyCamper, I certainly agree with some of your comments, though I can't offer an opinion as to the useability of CursorFX.... it's another program that isn't compatible with Vista x64. Regards, Peter
May I congratulate Frogboy on his post above, it was informative and balanced, and very well presented. Thank you. Regards, Peter
DaveBax, the download on Impulse should be the same version that is offered at cnet (Download.com) and as such, it SHOULD come with either the Diamond Theme (offered with the latest version I believe) or the Quest Theme, but it will only be one of them. When you run MyColors, you should have the option to apply whatever theme was included and installed as part of the MyColors download. Regards, Peter
Thank for the info Zubaz, will try that but last time I mouse-hovered over the ratings it came up with "Only Apprentice and above are allowed to rate, etc".
Many thanks for taking the time to comment John, interesting AND valid points that you make, which will ensure that your art will be enjoyed by many for a good while to come I hope. I apologise if you were offended by the "so-called" reference, it was not intended personally but in a more generalistic context with regards to issues I have here with the awarding of grading "Stars" awarded to submissions at WC, namely that only Apprentices and above (Skinners, right??) get to vot
Time to upset you guys... you're all ASSUMING Hyperdesk is uxTheme based, but do you KNOW for certain, no, you don't. Even if it is a uxtheme patch, the system has in the past and still continues to function adequately for a good many people that use StyleXP and TuneUp Utilities, (take a look at the volume of content on DeviantART (for one) to see that), and I would venture to say that HyperDesk will find a niche in the customisation world, if the software works and "does what it says on the box
meant *bump* with regards to x64 not the skins/themes.... I'd like IP working before worrying about themes/skins (wb is good for me so I'm happy)
*bump*
I've just read the Pot in the OD 2008 Launch thread and apologise for my hasty post above, it's no excuse but we're 5hours ahead of you guys here in the UK and impatience got the better of me. Many thanks for the reply Zargon. Sargan : 3.99.143 doesn't work for me on 2 seperate Vista x64 boxes, so I'll wait for the v4 release later in the week. Thanks :D
I see we're STILL waiting for x64 support for IP (as of 3.99.143). Any news on when us Vista x64 users can expect a little loving from SD given that MyColors has been added to our Ultimate Subscription, again without x64 support. These Vista stock icons really suck guys :D
Many, many thanks Mike, was waiting patiently for eSupport to get back to me and ofc the poor people are still experiencing problems. Hope their problems are resolved soon :P Regards, Peter
Hi, I created a ticket at Support a couple of days ago requesting that the activation count for WB be reset for me, if possible. I am a current ODNT/OD Ultimate subscriber and have had trouble installing/using WB with the last couple of builds of WB on Vista x64 (the infamous msconfig.exe issues), and have had to uninstall/reinstall WB numerous times in a short period of time... hence my request for ac reset above. I understand
WindowBlinds works very well with both my 64bit and 32bit Vista Boxes. No problems whatsoever, and they're both running SP1. Have you tried cleaning the Registry of any WB related entries AFTER uninstalling AND rebooting, prior to reinstallation ? That might work for you.
*bump*
Sorry, I forgot to mention that I've tried applying other IPs as well with the same result, so it does seem to be an IconPackager problem, imho, and the only way to cure it is to Restore/Reinstall my System and stick with the ****ty Icons that come with Vista.
The time has come to make my first Post to the Forums and unfortunately (for me), it's a request for help. I recently purchased a Cryo64 IconPackage (Exodo2 YQ for Vista) and eagerly applied it using IP 3.20a[rc].033 which was installed via SDC (I am a current OD Subscriber/owner), however, I am unable to launch any games through Games Explorer, including the bog-standard MS "freebies" that come with Vista Ultimate, as my File Associations appear to have been unset on applying the new i
