I'd just like to take the time to thank everyone who has downloaded my Clock Gadget for Windows Sidebar, you've made an old man very happy, this submission is my first 1000+ download and it also gave me my 1000+ award. Thank you one and all. Regards, Peter
A well-deserved feature... way to go Kitty :CONGRAT:
Download.com version is working fine for me on 2 Vista Ultimate x64 boxes. Hope the feedback helps SeaBass
I agree with the above comments, good picks ID :CONGRAT: Nice to see Gef back too :D
Absolutely wonderful John, can't wait for this one. :CONGRAT:
An excellent pick for the "Spotlight" ID, WG does some really awesome work. Mant thanks to you for featuring him and WG for his outstanding work. :CONGRAT:
My understanding is that you would need impulse AND MyColors to install the Burgandy theme at the moment, but I believe that Stardock may be looking at making the suites available as Theme Manager suites for those of us that don't want to use MyColors, but I'm not certain. As regards Impulse, you really should install and use this fine application, as it will be replacing Stardock Central in the future and you can do everything you can do in SDC, but more of it IF YOU WANT TO.
Does NT have a thing about sheep.... or does he just secretly wish that he was Welsh ??? (Just trying to inject some humour here guys) :p ;p :d
Will have something to show in a few days ID, I'm following the tutorials by Morgemil and also creating an IconPackage for my first WindowBlinds (wip just now but should be able to do a preview quite soon). I'm also learning my way around CorelDraw X4 at the same time as doing the tutorials, but I'm using Photoshop CS3 for my own project.
Let me start by saying that I subscribed to WC in the first place because it was a FRIENDLY, HELPFUL site that kinda fitted what I needed and having made my own posts in the past about the way some comments/topics are presented here I'd like to say that I think Snowman was right in making this post. It SHOULD be the Mods/Admins that make any decisions as to what is or is not posted to the libraries and that any disagreements should be dealt with in private between the parties concerned, and if t
This is an excellent series Morgemil, though I could be biased cos I'm learning my way around CorelDraw X4 at the same time, (also following these tutorials to create a parallel set with my own graphics, using Photoshop CS3). Many thanks from this VERY happy member :CONGRAT: Regards, Peter
I have the same error on my Vista x64 Ultimate boxes too. Different hardware configurations (one Intel, the other AMD) so it would seem to be some kind of OS/software fault. Don't know if this is any help in narrowing it down Seabass. Regards, Peter
Very good and helpful. Looking forward to the rest of the series. :CONGRAT:
I'm not sure you posted to the right category friend, but anyone reading this post should see, and hopefully offer to test for you, if you get stuck for a tester I'll help you out, just pm/email me. Hope this helps Peter
I have to agree with everyone here, but as a "noob" skinner working on their first wb, I'd just like to say that updated documentation for SKS6 would be a big help too, it'd even answer most of my "noobish" questions without the need to ask experienced skinners after I've beaten my head against the wall till I get a headache, or indeed, until I need someone to break-test it. Thanks for the insight Messiah, OD skins will feature as a part of my "theme", so any info gleaned now is very mu
Good to hear, thanks for the heads-up Seabass. Looking forward to this :CONGRAT:
Can you not write the articles to your Impulse Blog using Live Writer, then they should show up in the WC Forums, assuming I understand the blogging system correctly. Just make sure you categorise it (I think).
Very welcome news, I'll definitely be following the tutorials :D
Since we had the option to change wallpapers inside WB6, I put mine in Public/Documents/Stardock/Windowblinds/Wallpapers.... makes things easy for old geezers like me, lol :d
This is a really sad day to be reading the Forums, WC and the skinning community as a whole has now lost another tremendously talented artist. :SNIFF!: I obviously won't be speaking for everyone here, but I'm sure that I speak for a great many of our community members here when I say that you will be sorely missed Kitty... I wish you well, hon, and hope that WHEN your mental state improves, as it surely will (you'll have to trust me on that one, along with all the other members who h
Where to start, lol ??? It may help a little when, on waking from your nights' sleep, if instead of getting up and rushing around, you just lie in bed and try to think of something that makes you feel good (you'll have to enter your own lewd thoughts about certain a "Vulcan" here, hehe) and just try to relax for a few minutes before rising to face the challenges that the day has to offer. Deep, dark thoughts are not a stranger to me, but I can control them and it's very rare th
I just had to come here and express my gratitude to everyone who who has contributed to make this exceptional, (dare I say "Perfect"), suite. I'm sure I speak for many, many other WC members when I say that this was one wicked team of skinners. Well done to you all !!! Regards, Peter :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
Many thanks for the help Bichur and Cavan1, it's much appreciated. I'll maybe take your advice Cavan1 and let the Mods decide.... I'm my own worst critic when creating my art in Vue so maybe a "fresh set of eyes" and the creative criticism will help me grow as a budding skinning artist. Regards
