Its stuck for me also. I deleted the xml files in the directory and restarted. And it still shows 'Download Queued' At first this game dloaded perfectly on my computer after tricking impulse to run in xp compatible mode. Im running xp-64. But my sisters computer, An iMac with an XP-home partition will not download the game. I was able to copy the game directory over and enter her serial number for her copy of the game but multiplayer will not work. Unless Impulse works I will h

OK, just found a workaround. Right click on the Impulse icon, select properties and change the compatibility to run as windows XP. Did that and it let me download the game. installing it as we speak. Game runs fine, its just impulse that is the problem. ...Game installed and running on XP64

I just had the same thing happen. Every game I own can run on XP64. Now I find out this one wont. Even Galactic Civilizations II run great on XP64.

I purchased two copies, once for me and one for my sister. But it seems that the digital download through Impulse is giving me an error on both serial numbers sent in the emails. "Yout accout is expired. (ref: 103)" I then went to the old Stardock central program and it didnt even have The Political Machine 2008 listed.
