Black start menu and other window menus wih latest beta in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

As the title says this latest beta of WindowBlinds gives me completely black start menus and various other menus in other applications (such as favourites menu in Windows Explorer). The menus stay black until the mouse hovers over them when they get drawn correctly - until the mkouse moves away again. This happens with every WindowBlinds skiI have tried including: 5imple, Gloss Burgendy, Diamond, Elegance, and Fly OS. With some skins there are also black undrawn area

Windows XP 32bit: I am getting a lot of disk activity when I resize a fence which I didn't get with the free version. It happens when actually gragging the fence and stops if you stop moving but keep the mouse button down. I am just downloading tonights update and will let you know if it is the same. By the way - are Fences and Deskscapes 3 meant to play nice together in XP? They don't for me at all, I just get a horrible dark area in about the top left 4/5ths

Sorry, I haven't even played the beta so I might be talking nonsense here but ... Just add "Focus" whereby you can choose how much to focus on the problem in hand. If you choose to be totally focused you get what you pay for - but it costs more. The less focused you choose to be the higher the probability that you get something different (maybe better, maybe worse) - but its cheaper and takes a bit longer. Here's the thoughts of gamer of more than 20 years. I have Metaboli GoD, Steam and Impulse accounts. The GoD service isn't generally as robust as the DtO services but it's getting better. Most people are still focusing on forcing overweight people to pay for more seats. I do agree that this could be an option but not unless and until the seating is, statistically, adequate for the bulk of the population. It wont fit all but would be much fairer than they are at present even if there will occasionally be exceptions.

Incidentally airlines already charge extra (at least in Europe) for additional leg room. I currently choose not to pay for this on the principle that the default leg room is usually insufficient and I don't see why I should pay more (individually) to get it up to a decent level. That might be cutting off my nose to spite my face but there you go.

The big problem here is that it would be abused by the airlines as an excuse to charge more and add more seats. The seats are already too small and with far too little leg room. At least they are from my experience in most European airlines (and not just the budget ones). I am not over wieght and often struggle to get comfortable. ObjectDock+ is my main WinXP interface now, I have a couple of niggles with it but it has sucessfully replaced the taskbar, system tray, start menu (mostly) and totally uncluttered my desktop. I tried Fences but, whilst great, I found that I just didn't need it with ObjectDock+. So, I am really looking forward to an update.

In fact, IN FACT, to start with we had to write out our code on specially marked sheets of paper and our school had to send them by post to a university in another city, then we had to wait a couple of weeks to get the results back. their output to date is somewhat small to rank them so highly I am not arguing with you (fan but not fanboy) but it depends on if the criteria is quantity or quality based. If there is a quantity aspect then you are correct - if quality alone is the criteria then they should defeintely be considered. Also, by quality I do not simply mean the original product - stardock are one of the best for long term support of their games.&nbsp
