I'm finally making the move to Linux. Is Windowblinds et al. strictly Windows or can we port it to Linux?
I opened another ticket at your suggestion. I never got a confirmation email for the last ticket, nor for the later one. I posted here in case someone else is having similar issues, and frankly, I'm getting tired of all this rigmarole that I shouldn't have to go through. If the issue isn't fixed by tomorrow I'll just instruct PayPal to withdraw the payments and refund me. Poor show Stardock.

I recently renewed old subscriptions to Wincustomize - on the 13th - and Object Desktop - on the 15th - through an outfit called Fastspring. Though the money was paid - and I have the proof; I paid via PayPal - my subscriptions haven't been renewed and neither Fastspring nor Stardock seem to want to talk to me. Is something going on I should know about?
That sounds like a lot of work, so I won't be doing it anytime soon. Perhaps when I'm feeling unusually confident and at a loose end. And no, it's installed on C:. If it weren't, would the other functions work?
Did as you suggested, but to no effect. If anything it's worse. I ran the purge, rebooted, re-installed CursorFX and ran it, with no improvement. So I re-booted the machine again, re-ran CursorFX, and still no improvement. Now, If I set the sounds, for instance, the sounds disappear as soon as I select another option, like Effects. As before, Trail selections effects work as before, but as before, Ghost, Life, Frequency and Opacity are all completely ignored.
I'm not sure when the sound disappears, but it certainly isn't directly after I close CursorFX. It might be after a reboot. I notice the thread you've linked is 2 months old now. Any idea when this will be fixed?

The current version of Cursor FX seems very flaky. Sounds and Effects can be set, but then disappear. And Trails are worse. Trail effects can be set, but not the Ghost Trail options, which are completely ignored. Windows Mouse Options seems to take precedence. Is this a known issue? Windows 10 AMD Ryzen 9 Nvidia GTX 1080

Just bought and installed Star Force by neone6. Love the skin but there's a problem. I use coloured backgrounds a lot in Open Office Calc, and they've all disappeared; it's all black & white now. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Can it be fixed?
I'm certainly using an Nvidia card as you can see from the list above, but not with surround view enabled.
Yep, that sounds like what's happening on my machine, but I've never used Ultramon and don't even know what it is.. Other symptoms are...items on the Quick Launch bar are very slow to respond to being fired up, as are items on the other side in the system tray. Also, Winstep has ceased to function in a usable manner. Clicking on the Winstep bar causes a long pause, then the items on the bar appear very briefly before disappearing ag
I have just installed the latest version of Windowblinds 10 and then removed it within minutes. Not only does it make the taskbar on my second monitor move up and down (?!), worse, it slows my whole machine down terribly. Is the earlier version still available for download somewhere?
Corruption is not the issue, old age is. I've also tried to uninstall Windowblinds 7 only to be told the same thing, Impulse is required. My recollection is that Impulse ceased to function some time ago - because it was sold on to another party - and I had to uninstall it for that reason. In the end I used Revo to uninstall. I haven't yet tried to uninstall other Object Desktop components. On the face of it it seems a poor show on Stardock's part to make unusable a tool th

I just tried to install Windows 10, but was told I had to remove Deskscapes 3 first. I haven't actualy used Deskscapes for ages but, to my astonishment it seems impossible to uninstal. Can it be true that Stardock require me to renew my subscription in order to uninstall their software? Surely not. I mean, what software house on the planet would want it to be known that one has to pay money in order to uninstall their software?

I find that when I add an item to Workshelf, instead of it accepting and using the provided icon, it uses a default blank icon. There is a way around it by using Workshelf's "change icon" function" but it's a nuisance and doesn't work in all cases. I know this is due to the mix of Workshelf and Icon Packager because it doesn't occur when IP is uninstalled. Does anyone else use these 2 packages, and do you have the same problem ?

I renewed my OD sub in November 2009, but I've certainly downloaded Drive Scan since then. I need to do it again now because I've just completed a clean re-install of Windows 7. The annoying thing is it shows up in Impulse on my Laptop, and with an update available. I must say I'm disappointed to discover it's been "retired". I've always found DS to be very useful.
Well this is very odd. My Object Desktop sub is up to date, I've re-registered Drive Scan in Impulse and the registration was successful, I've even re-installed Impulse but without luck. Everything else is listed - as far as I can tell - but not DS. I'm beginning to suspect Stardock have removed it.
