I've just got one question. What organization was the money raised by springsteen and mellencamp raised for? I may be wrong, but aren't political organizations tex-exempt also? I 'm not sure does anyone know, are PAC's tax exempt. Their money, like a church, is collected from donations from people who have already had that money taxed?

I know Kerry spoke out against Vietnam, but he was speaking out against Nixon, not the soldiers Unfortunatly for Kerry, it doesn't come across to most people that way(I'm not saying if he did or not). Be it the way the media uses it or the way the opposition to him uses it, it just "seems" like he was

I'd have to say I agree, both sides are going crazy over this election. I know who I'm voting for , not cause I like him, but cause I believe he is the lesser of two evils. It's just sad that our great country has come to this. That's why I would NEVER in my life register for a political partry. I belong to the "use my mind and think for myself party"

When I was stationed in Okinawa in the 90's every couple of months we would get some reservists in for their yearly "Training". Because of the level of their prior training they would usually be used for cleaning the heads and offices or filling in on mess duty. As far as retention being a problem. I got out as a first termer in 99'. I can honestly say I only met a handful of people out of thousands over 4 years who were in their first term who pla

Just a quick note, in the 2000 election everyone was saying Gore won the first debate for about 2 days afterward, then as the substance of the debate was talked about more and more people changed their minds on who won.

First off I'd like to say, I've been reading the stuff on here for about a month now and finally signed up so I could respond. I think the majority of you are very intelligent and make some great points regardless what side of the political spectrum your on. I really believe that every time I come on here I leave knowing more than I knew when I came on. Now as far as the debates go I think I ha
