Much to my embarrasment, I learned that my Nvidia Vanta/Vanta LT video card only has 8 MB RAM. I have been playing very non-graphics intensive strategy games for years, and no video card requirement for anything I have played has ever gone above 4 MB RAM, so I did not even think to check that PM (essentially a strategy game) would require 32 MB video RAM.
