I stopped trying to use my created character and opted instead to use the defualt Democract from CA (Mace I think). That allowed me to reach Nixon easily enough. The secret is obviously that default characters are easier to use first....than move on to created. What I did is I picked my VP based on what state was giving my problems (I created a TX and FL Democrat, so I know I can seal either of those two states).Also, I try to get at least one endorse

Is it recommended that people start their first campaigns with created characters? Also, how can we increase the number of character points for created characterss?
