It was a 1.01 game through and through. Any ideas?

Hey everyone, I don't know if this is a bug or something native to my machine only, but whenever i try to load a game from the Saved Game screen, the game exits out. I just updated TPM to 1.01. Any thoughts would be appreciated. 2.4gz Pentium IV, 512 Ram, Windows XP Pro, Radeon 9200 BTW
