Crash after Load Game Screen

Hey everyone, I don't know if this is a bug or something native to my machine only, but whenever i try to load a game from the Saved Game screen, the game exits out. I just updated TPM to 1.01. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

2.4gz Pentium IV, 512 Ram, Windows XP Pro, Radeon 9200 BTW

You can't load 1.0 games from 1.01.

I've had the same problem. When I am finally able to load a saved game, it crashes rather than opens.

Thanks. This sucks. No matter when I try to open a saved game, I hit load and the game closes. Frusterating to say the least. I can't even start a game now. In order to play, I have to uninstall then reinstall and play for as long as I can but once I stop, I can't pick up later becuase it won't load or start again.

Well, I can't reproduce this from my SDC build or in the debugger, so it must be something about your systems. So I'm going to need more information to fix this.

First of all, why don't you e-mail me the .PMSave files from your Political Machine\Data directory so that I can try and load them here?

Please include your system specs in the e-mail and a description of this bug or a link to this thread so that I have a frame of reference.

Also, mpo2004, you say that you can't even start a game now. You can't start a new game from the quickplay button? Can you please install SmartException from here:

and send the crash report to me with your save games?
