Sorry about all the problems you had, NT...what a bummer! I noticed that Skinstudio 5.0 lags too when starting, but I haven't had any crashes or anything. I just figured it is a quirk with this update. I wish there was some documentation with this update. I don't understand the per pixil thing. Finally able to acceess this. Home main ISP: Brighthouse-Internet Junction. Don't work Back up ISP at home: AOL-able to connect...just discovered this this morning! Strange, though...cause I access AOL through my cable internet service. I have to open this site on AOL...if I try open it via IE over AOL, it doesn't work. Now, I know why I never got rid of AOL..lol

My ISP is Brighthouse as well...but I have Internet Junction. It has affected me as well. I am not able to access this site, Stardock, or Deviant Art. However, I have aol as a back up ISP, and I finally discovered I could get on via it. But, I still can't get on via the Wincustomize browser. What I learned is that Cogento is in a battle with some of the big ISP's, and not allowing them to access some of the big web sites, like this one

Adding toolbar icons to skin in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Hi, I just uploaded a blind that I ported...Evergreen. Night Train said I could use his toolbar icons (I used them in the preview of the skin) in the skin, and then I would re-upload the blind. I have no idea how to get the toolbar icons into Skin Studio! Can anyone tell me how to do that? I have the toolbar icons in my skin libray. Thanks for any help! Mj

I sure was glad to find this thread on here! I came here cause my Icon Packager crashed too. And, it happened when I was trying to install Azenis. After I saw this, I deleted that package, and all is well now. Thanks so much!

Okay, I got the text fixed...I changed the X and Y things! I still can't get the bottom bar to work right when I try to make a full start menu. Anyone else have any ideas?

Cavan, I have had no problem with any other skins, as far as changing text, size of the start menus, etc. I did uninstall the VS, and reconverted it, but to no avail....and I forgot to save my images! I have Skin Studio Professional...whatever the current version is...I just updated it last week. The thing that is weird, is when I change the size of the user pane, the bottom bar does not move...with every other skin I have had, the bottom

OK..I tried resizing the middle part, and that didn't work either! I have never had a problem resizing the bottom bar before...this is so weird! Any other suggestions out there?

Cerebro, I tried that...the new size would show up on the right side, but not with image itself. It's like he had some weird setting in there, that I couldn't change. In order to avoid that you'd have to select the area in the middle that doesn't have magic-pink at the edges then resize that bit by it self

I am working on another port, and have hit a snag. The original vs had a compact menu only. When I tried to make a full menu, I couldn't get the bottom bar to stretch. So I physically resized the image in PSP. As you can see, I have some magic ping at the bottom outside edges of the bottom bar...I have tried everything I could think of to get rid of that, but can't do it. Also, the user name at the top. Night, So, you are saying I can put the full start menus in there as additional substyles, and it won't increase the size much? I just assumed that everything would double! I know how to add substyles...have done that a lot with skins I have downloaded. Thanks for the input. I'll try that!

Making Separate Blind with just Full start menu in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

Hi, I uploaded a blind last night (With Love Series) that actually has 4 blinds in it. I made all of the menus compact, and chose not to do full start menus...mainly because of the size of the download...4mb. Now, I have been asked to include full start menus. I am more than willing to do this, but the consensus is that I should do this as a separate blind, because if I included those in the current skin, the download would approach 10mb! My q
