It was like print screen and then cut and paste into one image. I am not sure if that is what other do.
That is exactly what I do as well. Also, like Philly said, be sure to mention what wall, icons, cursor, etc., you used in the screenshot. If you used any other stuff in the screenshot, mention those too. It is also a good idea to provide links to those items as well.
- Cannot get the titlebar to appear in the WB skin list.
Pretty good blind you have there. The titlebar has to in bmp format for it to show up in the skin list. You have it in tga format. As for the all programs panel....I don't know what to tell you. I only make the buttons, not an image for the entire section. I did notice that you have the all programs panel sixed at 100 x100, yet the panel is 190 x 30. Don't know if that is part of your problem or not.<
I got into building mine too and overclocking - I still have the first one I built - OC'd the AMD Thunderbird - problem is when I start it up - the house lights dim, the windows rattle and the neighbors run outside to see where the jet is landing...too many fans me thinks!
Jazzymjr - I didn't know there was anything before the Tandy 1000 - takes you back some though to think of these first computers. Do you know I still have my Tandy 1000 - I found it in the basement last night. I couldn't believe it!
Yea, there was something...but, dang, this old mind is starting to fail me..can't remember s***.. When I moved on to a better computer, I gave the Tandy 1000 to my son...he use
Thats right I had forgot it was called the Tandy 1000
Well, the Tandy 1000 was my second computer. I had an earlier Tandy, but can't remember what model (remember...they were Radio Shack's brand), but it got stolen, so my insurance paid for the Tandy 1000, since the earlier one was no longer available...now...that really tells you I am WAY OLD! LOL I just remember that that the first computer had no hard drive or memory...all the programs were on those big 5.25 inch fl
Does anyone here knows how do we use the section Favorites Item in Controls\menus? and what is the purpose of this section?
The Favorites Item is the mouseover for the Favorites menu you access from the menubar at the top of your screen. I generally use the same mouseover that I use for the drop down menu..the pull down item. If you don't skin the favorites menu or the mouseover, I think WB uses the drop down menu (changed to a bmp) and pull down item.

The beeps have stopped! The joys of PC's! I tried setting the refresh rate at 60, as I had it at that with my other LCD monitor, but the graphics card wouldn't accept it....insists on running at 75! Go figure!

I reseated the graphics card. Then I got an error message at bootup about a hardware monitor problem...the voltage was set at 3.3, and it was at 2.97. I couldn't get into windows...the beeping was going nuts! So, I turned the pc off, unplugged the monitor from the pc, plugged it back in, turned the computer back on, and everything booted up ok without any beeps...but when I got to the desktop, everything was off to the right, and I couldn't change it. So, I checked for a new graphics card dr
If you have changed your monitor you may have disturbed the graphics card. Try reseating the card to see if that helps
Thanks, Fuzzy....never thought of that! I'll try that.

I think I am in trouble here... My computer started making strange noises yesterday... The computer can be idle, and I will hear a single beep every now and then. When I am doing something like typing like I am doing now, it will beep several times sporadically...they are almost always single beeps. They sound like the beep you get when you first turn on your pc...the post beep. The only hardware I have added recently is a new 19 inch wide LCD monitor on the 2nd. I did install th
I cant work out why the same theory wont work on a larger button..
Kitty, I don't use buttons there anymore, but when I still did, it seems to me that there is a limit to the size of the buttons you can use there. I recall never having my buttons any bigger than 24 x 24 pixels. Maybe if you try to make the buttons a little smaller, it would work out bettter. The bottom bar content margins dictate the placement of the buttons....maybe try making the top and bottom c
big congrats to jazzymjr that had no intention of making that blind to match buzzh58's walls and the accessories as she was away at the time and had to hustle to get it done in time. Good job my friend
Thanks, Karen. If you guys would stop making such beautiful stuff.....uh, well, don't stop! I feel very honored to make the blinds for your and buzz's stuff...you are both awesome artists. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle

I generally use the default fonts of Tahoma and Trebuchet. Sometimes I use Calibri too....but you have to have clear type enabled for it to look right. For the user name and logoffs, I always use a different font...that changes depending on my mood when making the blind.

Welcome to Wicustomize! For images, Photoshop is probably the best out there! I also use Paint Shop Pro. The main thing is to skin for yourself...don't worry about what other people would like. And have fun doing it! If you can't figure soemthing out, just ask...there are plenty of us folks here that are willing to help. Just be careful....you may (and probably will) become addicted! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" border=0 align="absmiddle

Let me rephrase that Tasktray icons and Quicklaunch icons The quick launch buttons do that for me sometimes too, when I am making a blind. What I do, is right click on the taskbar, select view > small icons. Hope this helps. BTW, I am still using WB 5.5

I didnt need someone interpreting(and expanding upon)my thoughts.(who said ANYTHING about leaving or skinning in a certain style just to please the boys or that a feminine skinning style was somehow inferior?) IR, I'm glad you clarified what you meant. Like, Fairyy~, I too, feel like I am penalized at times for skinning in a feminine style. Sometimes I get so discouraged, that I have thought of leaving. But, if I do that, it would be like me cutting

If anything being a woman would get you promoted faster, especially one that dosnt even skin in a feminine fashion. I have kept quiet up to this point, but the above statement really bothers me. It sorta feeds right into the notion that female skinners who skin like a female cannot possibly be good skinners. I have real big issues with that! I am a female and am proud of being one...and like feminine things. I have always known that the skinning comm

So, I'm assuming this is named after the extinct marine mollusks, in which case the word is actually "ammonite," You are correct on both...The correct spelling is Ammonite...and yes, I named the blind after the mollusks. I just wanted to point out what appears to be a typo or misspelling. Evidentally a typo on Frogbo
