New Subscriber Intros

Let us know who you are.

Just an idea to throw out there....what with the subscription drive going on.
How about a Sticky for new SUBSCRIBERS to intro themselves. You see this on a lot of the sites out there. Something to give people a way to kinda ease into the community without having to worry about stepping on toes or feel like they're intruding into threads, etc.

That kind of post might be able to catch up to Xaltec's "Word Association" fairly quickly.

So for you noob SUBSCRIBERs post a little something about yourself. You know....real name, bank account & credit card numbers, SSN, home address, etc. (just kidding)

[font="arial,helvetica,sans-serif"]Well,I'm not actually a newbie [joined in April] and I suck at skinning [crap, I call it] but anyway...

I'm Pixeleo, 14 years old, from Asia, and I'd rather not give my full name, you won't be able to pronounce it anyway.... I love the site [visit it whenever I can, which means every hour or so,] and I hope I'd get better at skinning while I'm at it. ;)

Hello from South Carolina,USA,Fergus. Good luck with your skinning. There are some great artists/skinners here at WC,but there is always room for more.I haven't seen anyone yet that isn't willing to help others with skinning. It's part of why I think WC is such a great place, although I myself may never make anything other than the occasional bad joke. ;p

Have fun, take care and I hope to see you in the galleries soon. :D

Welcome to the madhouse, Super

Now that you're here, you might want to get a dictionary and a helmet. There are people like Zubaz and Jafo in here *_*

And also, get an umbrella and watch out, there's always some poo whenever the Munkeh's around ;P

Have fun

I've been here downloading skins and things for several months and for some reason just figured out what the Screenshots gallery is for - and now I'm really hooked. Is there a 12-step group for this?  >_> *_*

I'm 49, female, and work as a librarian/information specialist for a news organization. In addition to this newest obsession, I'm really into growing succulents (and other plants too). I've some fairly basic web design. I've been using Paint Shop Pro X for recoloring icons and stuff for my screenshots - don't know if I'll ever be up to actually creating a skin for anything... :)
