New Subscriber Intros

Let us know who you are.

Just an idea to throw out there....what with the subscription drive going on.
How about a Sticky for new SUBSCRIBERS to intro themselves. You see this on a lot of the sites out there. Something to give people a way to kinda ease into the community without having to worry about stepping on toes or feel like they're intruding into threads, etc.

That kind of post might be able to catch up to Xaltec's "Word Association" fairly quickly.

So for you noob SUBSCRIBERs post a little something about yourself. You know....real name, bank account & credit card numbers, SSN, home address, etc. (just kidding)

HI EVERYBODY!, I'm quite new to all this, but what a great site!
I live in Denmark (Europe), and I'm only 14 years old :NOTSURE:
Uhh, and i was in USA in my summer holiday, nice country you've got there

well anyway I'm new to this so i suck at making dreams (the only thing I've tried yet), that means that I'll just download em for now.

Welcome to the WC RickyMaveety & The_Sweeper :)

If you click on the articles button up top you'll find a link to a lot of member created tutorials. I seem to recall our only Dream master mentioned posting one. There's a lot more under the help button including a link to our Wiki. Have fun :HOT:

Hi everyone:
Just signed up to your community and have been browsing the forums. I am currently retired and have been in the computer field almost since the inseption of the desktop and Windows 3.1. I also fly a traffic chopper for a couple of local tv and cable news channels part time to breakup the mononity of retired life. But computers and Free to air TV take up a lot of my spare time so I never seem to get bored anymore. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your community..

I've been a WC member for a few months now and really love the community. I'm not a skinner but would like to try my hand at it soon. The forums are great. I've received a lot of help, gleaned a great deal of information and even tried to contribute where I'm able. I wish time and health allowed more daily time to participate more. I really just wanted to stop by here and thank all the old experienced hands who have aided me. You're a great bunch. :)  :CONGRAT:

We're glad you're here Ed. Anyway we can help let us know. :)

In another thread you might have misunderstood a comment I made..... the term "Idiot Proof" is to the common man what "User Friendly" is to Bill Gates. No slur was intended toward newbies. :)

(There are from time to time those who make the term more appropriate) ;)

Lantec,
Thanks for the heads up on this. Sometimes newer members of any forum aren't sure where they stand with the older members.

Hey, I'm brand new here. I've been on-line since probably the middle of my college career (in the mid-90s) but haven't stumbled across this web site until this past week. I like what I've seen here so far. -Robert
