While we appreciate all feedback, please remember that we offer no official support for beta \ preview \ developer channel versions of Windows. If you report issues while in any of those early release channels, you should not expect them to be addressed unless it still exists in a retail version of Windows.

Ok, I addressed this on the private channel, and I'm gonna hit it here because I haven't gotten any answers.

Any skin, including Lantana that comes with WB 11, that has a taskbar that doesn't go flush with the screen/monitor, has this opaque grey looking section behind the taskbar.  Both ends.

Is this WB 11, or is it Start 11?

How can I fix it?

As for automatic dark mode, not working here. I have to select it every skin change.

I have a question, but a little offtopic.

Will WB be available (Beta or Final) in Steam?

about says it's WB 10.89 but it all looks like WB11

So can I assume older skins can still be loaded in wb11?

There may be some minor things to work on in WB 11, but I have tested a few skins made for Windows 10 on Windows 11 and the are very usable.

Nice. I have a few I really like and they are no longer being updated.

Also noticed that unloading WB11 from the taskbar leave the UI in an inconsistent state. 

Loading The acrylic skin destroys the date/time display on one of my sat. monitors

Unloading WB does not revert the taskbar back and window NC areas are thrashed entirely.

Also the taskbar context menu does not work at all on the non main display.

Skins are not compatible with the new file explorer with tabs. The tabs were sticking outside of the skin. Upon re-selecting default theme, the tabs are complete gone, as is the ribbon all together. This is unworkable.

Most likely it will be fixed by the time explorer tabs come out of beta (moment 1). 

I have the same issue and no skins will apply outside of W11 default

As noted if you use non release versions of Windows we do not offer support.

That said they should work just fine.  They certainly are in the latest insider builds.  Can you post a screenshot of the problem?

I also had to remove 2 old WB10 entries using control panel > programs and features... (windows 11 apps > installed apps wouldn't remove them)

and for a while I had 2 start buttons because I have start 11 put it in the middle, I had the skin one all the way to the left and the start 11 one in the middle, but as soon as I opened the snipping tool to grab  a screenshot the one on the left went away

Icons change upon skin change. Edge will say wordpad and so on.

Uhhmmm, could you be a bit more specific on this, more information?

You should be able to fix this by downloading start 11 beta version 1.27 in your "my downloads" section

You really want that? You open up WB and risk get kicked out of any running game or other application on STEAM. 

So far, so good. Really impressed with performance on Win 11 22H2. The only issues I've seen that is consistent with all skins (including the pre-packaged ones) is that the SysTray icons disappear sometimes (often). If you hover over each they come back. Just a very minor thing.

Ok, finally working again. I am so happy to have this back! 

However I noticed that it's not playing nice with start 11. They fist fight for control when I change skins and I have to re-log to get the right fx.
