when I'm using windows blind 11.04 on a windows 11 24h2, either visual studio 2022 or metaeditor from metaquotes doesn't show the file save dialog when requested.
The problem disappear when I'm activating the default theme.

I have also renewed the licence, uninstalled and reinstalled it, and now it's working fine for new themes.
I have seen old themes like on Motif, which is logically not working perfectly ( I let you guess... the file explorer doesn't open ... ).
From your own experience, would it require a lot of adaptations to work again ?

I checked Motif, it was released back in 2000, yes? I don't think that will work with today WB11. Need lots of work to make it so.

When I do this, the title bar appears to have a partial duplicate of itself and the normal buttons on the right side of the title bar don't appear. This app was written in Visual Basic 6. Any ideas? It doesn't happen with the "default theme," which I assume is no theme at all. It happens with all of the other skins I've tried, even Windows Classic. This app is the only one that clearly shows a partially duplicate title bar, but other 32-bit/VB6 apps have similar issues with the title bar icons missing. With some skins, a complete second title bar is initially displayed. If I resize the app, however, the effect on the title bar changes, and the duplicate may become blank.

I tried disabling title bar skinning in the options, and got 3 copies of the title bar instead of 2.. lol. Is there anything else I can try?

The only issue I'm seeing is the title bar. The rest of the app appears normal.

Upon closer investigation, the form caption / title bar is MISSING when skinned - the piece which is being duplicated is actually the top line of the form content. Any ideas? : )

Never mind - a simple vb6 app works fine. The app in question intercepts some of the Windows messages, has custom form resize routines, and is clearly interfering with some of the things WindowBlinds needs to do.  So it's just this app (and the others like it).  Thanks...

Issue with using OneNote 365 trying to export a OneNote page as something else.

I do not get the Save pop-up window that allows me to set the file name and location.

If I unload WindowBlinds 11 then it works. 

Excluding OneNote (Ignore the application) does to help.

I've seen this behavior with other apps but can't recall the specific one right now.

Your WB version is two years out of date.  If you update to 11.06 it should resolve your issue.

When I go into WB and do About > Check for Updates    it says I'm up to date.

Do I download the  11.06 and install from that?  Will it update and keep my settings that way?

Cannot find an WB 11.06 version.  
I can download Object Desktop where you said but there is not option there to do an upgrade to 11.06 (or anything) like Windowsblinds 11.  Just Object deskto and Object desktop has no upgrade option for WB.

In Windowblinds > about > check for update it still says 11.02 and that I'm up to date.

Do you have a link directly to WD 11.06.?

Goggled and found a link to 11.06. During the install there was no prompt to uninstall my existing WB version like the instructions said.

No reboot asked for but rebooted.  Worked.  I have WB 11.06 installed and the original problem with OneNote Export pop-up works now.

First-time user of WindowBlinds here, I'm having issues with the software interacting with EasyAntiCheat for certain games, specifically Fall Guys.

While WindowBlinds is active on the device, I have noticed substantial stuttering while playing the game. When closing the application, I am given this error from Windows Explorer.

I did some quick research and noted that individuals on other sites have commented about this issue, and a root cause might be due to an expired certificate for the DLL file. On further inspection, I have found that it expired on April 24th, 2025.

I am running WindowBlinds Version 11.06. Below are more details about my device, if that may help with troubleshooting.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe, It is known issue on Windowblinds with Anti-Cheat software. And if you refer here: https://forums.stardock.com/495545/ and in there, Support did suggest a workaround steps for this issue.

There is also the question about why the date the cert expired is an issue.  They are date counter signed intentionally to avoid there being a problem with expiry dates.
