Will the Founder's Vault ever get any new content? 

Are trade routes going to be limited in number? Because 9 or so on an immense map isn't a lot.

Will space monsters(they were in GCI) make a reappearance?

How will pirates function? Will they spawn? Have home bases? Will we be able to bribe them to leave us alone or target someone else?

Edit: Is the in-game encyclopedia still in the cards?

Since Paul voiced last week that health regain rate should be looked at, it would like to repeat my question of last week that unfortunately was not answered due to the limited  time available:

Damaged ships regain their health very slowly. Since shipyard can now idle. Is it possible to introduce a "repair" mode instead of shutdown that would accelerate the health regain rate of the ships within the influence sphere of the shipyard?

Will the buildings in the planet viewer be animated? For example some blinking lights or smoke trails, or some moving parts?

This would go a long way to make planet view not as bland as it is now and maybe adress some criticism about GC3 beeing too cloose toGC2 in regards to the planet surfaces.

  1. Will there eventually be an option to speed up or slow technology progression?  Similar to Galciv II although I would like to be able to slow it down to almost a crawl on super large galaxies.
  2. There are a lot of astroids in the game currently even when they are set to rare.  I know a few weeks back you stated that no plans for right now to have anything else usefull in astroids other than the resources.  Is there a possibility of them being mined to increase production similar to Galciv II or at least minimize them even further in the game?   On a side note to that even if you have resources set on extreme and astroids set to rare you still get an abundance of astroids however, the resources in them are limited, may need to look at this...
  3. Very early on after the game was announced there was some talk of binary stars appearing in the game?  Has this gone away or possible in expansion or dlc in future?
  4. Can we get auto spawning annomolies for survey ships to find later in the game?
  5. Can we get an option for the survey ships to explore only in one's space?

You and I have similar thoughts. I would also like it, if this slider was seperated from the production... i.e. I can slow production and research or just research and not production or just production and not research.

i personally like the idea and would make the followig suggestion

repair mode - when active the ship fore goes all movement points starting next turn in exchange for a doubling of repair rate

if the ship is in the immidiate vacinity of an owned or allied planet the repair rate is doubled again ( 4x ) 

if the ship is docked at shipyard that rate is doubled again (8x) - this may need a balance or a check to prevent it from becomming op

No worries.  Twitch exports can be frustrating and then you have to wait for YouTube to process.  It doesn't always cooperate.

I'm working late to get it posted before the weekend begins. :)

I hope to have it ready in just a few.
