First I would like to take the thank  rjhughes67 for taking up this project. Nacey has had a lot of things on his plate and so he has not gotten around to Distant Stars lately. He says he will occasionally pop in with comments and ideas but his time is being taken up else where. I, Ryat, will continue to be forum moderator and master bug hunter for this project. And maybe the occasional change/addition.

Second I would like to thank Nacey, -Ue_Carbon, Draakjacht, Stant123 and Skyline (the originator of this mod) for all of their hard work on this project. Also give thanks to all the modders whose mod projects we used, abused and otherwise mutilated for our own mod.

And finally to our fans. Let's face it. Sins of a Solar Empire is a very moddable game and there are some excellent mods out there. We thank you for sticking with us.

The one you linked to is for DIPLOMACY.

 

Notice how it says after the link for it: 1. Updated to Diplomacy version 1.37

 You don't want that one.

 

If you go to the top of the downloads page you will see the very first download that is listed says:

I was trying this mod after the patch and about 2 hours in it crashed.  I was only running DS v0.21R+FWSP-RG.

I tried the mod a second time and was able to get much further with no CTD.  Although the new AIs are substantially more difficult.  How to drop a 44k hull on a vasari SB with a fleet is a bit challenging when getting hit on the other fronts.

Much of what was changed have little bearing on the mod. At best, you won't get the changes that are implemented by 1.82 in certain areas.

I did get a weird black screen trying to alt tab out.  Seems to only work with alt ctrl del then logging off and back in to get it to the desktop.  I have this problem with homeworld 2 every now and again where it goes to a black screen when alt tabbing from a game.

Odd, I am getting mini dumps on all my mods, including EX4 in dev mode.  Fresh install, fresh download of mods.  DS is doing this fancy minidump every 5 minutes thing.  Causing me to save frequently.  I saw rjhughes saying something about a update coming for all the mods on his site so I am just waiting.  I am although happy that it seems to only be an issue for me.  Any suggestions on fixing these crashes?

Where is the research "Co-species Relations" because I can't seem to find it to research the Kosovza

 

and I can't find the Phoenix anywhere in the build lists for either ship yards.

Are you referring to the Hidden Alliance mod? I haven't looked that over in a while so there may be many mistakes.

Yes and no, the Kosovza is in the hidden alliance mod, the Phoenix is supposed to be in the core mod.

You can't build one, but to get one you have to play a game with "Flagship Victory" turned on. Then you will get one at the start of a new game.

     This is a new download for all and fixes a few problems where those who don't have the DLC's could not colonize Forest and Swamp planets and for everyone the Industrial planet being in the correct research category as stated in the string file. We apologize for any inconvenience and promise that Ryat will be beaten repeatedly for days.

     On the other hand we have replaced the Alliance Hidden Agenda's Add-on with Alliance Hidden Agenda's 2 ....Enjoy!!
