What are you going to name your star?

Might as well fill this space up with 'useless' topics  ^_^ ;P

So what are you going to name your star and what's the reason for that name (if any) ?

I'm going to name my star 'Emmen'. It's my hometown, lived here all my life and am proud of it even though most Dutch people would call it a dump.

Edit; why is this topic showing up in the General GC3 subforum? I posted it in the GC3 Founders subforum.

That is a really difficult question for me to answer. I guess I could use my name. Or maybe "pot-o-gold". Or "streets paved with gold", or "crock-pot", or ...... Maybe I will just have to surprise myself (and everyone else).

I have not decided yet but i was thinking Gagarin to honor the first human in space who tragically died in a plane accident after he uplifted humanity. Or maybe Armstrong for doing the same thing.

When the times will come I will choose between Alurin and Miarnerie. With a preference for Alurin which sound more like a star name than Miarnerie in my ears.

Star name? Maybe 'elana's Ahova' (means 'elana's love' of GalCiv3).

Wishupona

Err...no...either Voqar (ahem, course that wouldn't be too different from my GC2 games with my race, leader, home planet named Voqar) or I have a name I use in a lot of MMORPGs that's a reference to my wife (mashup of her first and middle names) that's unique and sensible.

Kind of dreading seeing some of the stuff people come up with, actually, and hoping the quality control is pretty tight on this.
