Ok.I hope we learn more about this pocket universe. It could be how the Thalan got in the game universe in the first place.

Was this the same pocket universe the Dread Lords were in as well?

Yes, it was. From the Timeline Year 2226: "The First Fleet of the Terran Alliance escapes to the pocket universe that the Dread Lords had escaped."

Could it be they found some tech the Dread Lords, or something else there as well?

Yes, they did find Precursor tech there, as was stated in the epilogue of the DL campaign.

The pocket universe (basically one sun, with one planet orbiting it) was created by the Arnor. It has nothing to do with the Thalan.

I usually found the most fun with Yor or Krynn. Whatever their second form and label should be now, in this glorious future! Seeing as these Earthlings finally have found the time to actually kick the seating musculature (or comparably accessible parts ) of the Xeno, maybe it is time to get back to the roots! Finally a way to turn diplomatic failure into a strategy!

Huge fan of the series.  I've lost so many hours to this game series that it isn't funny.  Loads of fun, but not funny (or punny).

I loved the trailer.  It looked awesome.  But not a lot in the way of "In game" visuals.  Any idea on how this will play?  Specifically in comparison to the previous games?

Until we actually see it in the game when it is finally released, none of us fans have any knowledge, but I would expect it to be part of the campaign and story line, just like in GC1 and GC2. And, of course, StarDock is being quite mum about it.

So far so good, I have a few bugs to report...but don't see an official means to report them.
