Missing forum features?

1: is there a way to search the forums? The search box just seems to be Google, and I'm sure people have asked these questions before, and I don't want to be annoying bugging you with classic FAQs, but there you are.

2: In the drop down menu on my nick, when I chose "email hfball" it says I have "chosen not to receive emails." Is there any way I can elect to receive email replies? I already checked "show email" in my profile, but that doesn't seem to have done anything.

newb out. :star:

No buttons in IE9, scroll to top not working, clicking user name does nothing.

No joy here FF19 or Chrome 25.....here's a twist though.....if I'm logged out (FF19) and go to the monthly screen shot post they scale down correctly. If I log in they go to full size with no scroll bars or any way to see the whole SS.

Using firefox/pale moon version, I see no option to quote or edit posts under the new forum style.  Old forum style still works fine.

Edit/Quote buttons have also disappeared from Chrome.

is removing most of the features supposed to be an upgrade?  :annoyed:

I don't know why a lot of pictures I posted center are now left aligned.

Refreshing the page or flushing the cache fixes a lot most of these issues on FF/PM (Win7 64bit).

Only thing still 'missing' is speed. ;)

No change here yet this morning using IE 9, buttons still missing and seeing advertisements.

Reply/Quote seem to be back (wondering if it could be a graphics card thing, won't know until Friday)

Edit/Quote buttons have also disappeared from Chrome.

I have quote, reply, report and karma, no edit. Chrome portable.

Also seeing edit, this is an edit.

The Forum fixing will continue today, guys.

This is weird. I see karma, report, reply, quote and on two posts I also see view edits. One on RnD's post and the other on Daiwa's but not on all of them. I don't think I'm supposed to see view edits on anyone's but my own.

You're supposed to be able to see them.

I'm using the new IE 10 on my Win7 64 OS and all is fine for me at the moment. :sun:          -- Ace --

Like the new avatar, Doc.  Coincidentally, my son was an extra in the film, was on the set for about 3 weeks, had a blast playing a Union soldier, enjoyed rubbing elbows with JD, AH, BP & HBC.  I'm looking forward to the release.  The trailers suggest it will be good.

We've updated the forums and the problems from the last update should be fixed now.

Looking fine on IE 9 now.

Thank you very much for the update to the forums.  :sun:

I made a oops, sorry.  Looks like the emotes go to the next line.  :S

I probably shouldn't ask this question but when might the site be compatible with IE 10 or is it now?

Not working for me on FF19 or Chrome 25 after clearing all history, cookies cache, etc.

User name drop down works in Chrome as long as I'm logged out.

Chrome: OP buttons don't work save the reply, Options looks out of place, no edit button on my post, no buttons at all on any posts.

Thanks for tryin' though, always tomorrow.  ;)

Still wondering what would make the smilies go to a new line and left align my centered pics, that's just weird.

Oh ya, EDIT:

Just the forums, or are you seeing ads elsewhere on the site?
