[eMod] Female Henchmen Updated v6

[eMod] Female Henchmen Updated v6

Unpack the files into your

 documents\my games\fallenenchantress\mods\

folder: You must check use mods in the game to use these henchwomen.

For those that don't want to click on use mods and have it part of the default game, then for organization purposes put under your documents fallen enchantress location the following files in these locations.

henchwoman.xml goes into your units folder

henchclothes.xml goes into your items folder

henchartitems.xml goes into your items folder

henchabilities.xml goes into your items folder

henchracetypes.xml goes into racetypes

This mod is Stormworld compatible (untested, but I did what heavenfall asked of me)

Note that: henchstormworld.xml is for stormworld compatibility (but will not cause any problems if you load it into your usual game).

There is a limitation how-ever. In order, to custom design your own female henchmen you have to edit on of the pre-existing henchwomen there.

I've updated to the latest version... get it here

Been a bit since I poked around here but I'm guessing this version is still current and compatible with the latest patches for Fallen Enchantress?

As far I as see from the logfile balance changes. I haven't noticed a change with the henchmen.

Ah good to know, i got ahold of the map pack recently when it was part of the midweek sale for Fallen Enchantress and thought about checking up on the mod and may also check out that summoner mod you made as well. Think my next game I'll go for creating my own faction as well.

Still a great mod ^_^

I seem to be having a problem, and I'm not sure if I can fairly say it's a problem with Henchwomen or not, but...

Henchwomen units don't seem to be able to select "standard" armors in my game. Things like normal leather, they're unable to have when I generate them, and, quite aggravatingly, if I give them those armors by buying them to their inventory from the shop, or trading them from a Champion, they vanish outright.

Oddly enough, it only seems to be the armor that they could have bought by default - I have the trait that gives me the Athican Leather breastplate instead of the standard one, and they can wear that. I found a suit of Reinforced Chainmail and gave it to one, and she's wearing it. They can also wear shields.

Has anyone experienced a similar bug and have any idea how to fix it?

I'll check to see if the problems are with my files or not. Unless they changed some of the art-definition names there should be no problems and if you can specifically tell me exactly what armors are causing the issue. Basically the way the mod works is I tell the game what armors the female henchmen can wear and if I missed one, that could be the issue. It could also happen if there are new armors in the game when I made the mod.. I would have to update it as well.

A cursory glance at the files showed that I've got all the vanilla armors taken care of and I'm not sure what armors you are missing. If there is another mod adding some art definitions or something that could cause a conflict, but I'm not sure otherwise why it is not working.
