I just noticed the CE has increased in price...It used to be around 80-83 euros, and now its

... what the hell happend to the price that it has increased so much? >.> Now I must wait a week+ again before I can buy it with paypal :/

meh, money is money. it's meant to be spent. I love the whole package so much, with that many spare, I'm tempted to buy a second one just so I can have two Kol ships facing off on my desk all the time. ^.^

Plus, I don't mind waiting either, I mean, people complain but you can't really expect them to have control over it. I mean, it's being sourced from like what, China right? All they can do is wait until they get it. Besides, it's not as if you don't have the game already. Stop complaining about it being set back, and just get more excited for when it arrives. ^.^ 

I don't mind having to wait either, but I don't really got 13 euro to spare...Seeing how I have no job etc. it was hard enough to let the 85 euro stand on paypal for when it was available to buy...Oh well I guess I won't buy it then :/

All depends on what you're into. Personally I can't imagine what adult would read the paper or trust it for information, or be seen with a Woman's Day magazine on their desk, but that's just the sort of culture I surround myself with. Gaming posters and memorabilia that we care about will be seen far more than random magazines talking about celebrities.

You got to admit though, the Kol Model is awesome, no matter how old you are.

I'm thinking of using it as a Leviathan class vessel in my Firestorm Armada tabletop gaming sessions. 

The kol model is the only thing that interests me as well...And maybe the mousepad... If I could just buy that stuff seperatly I'd totally do it ;p The rest is really...Unneeded for me ;p

I think it is indeed currency inflation, seeing how the price has now risen to a new high... 

I guess either the euro is falling rapidly, or the dollar is raising quickly...whichever it is, it sucks

Looking at this there doesn't seem to have been much movement really since June.  The $ has become worth more over the year as a whole, but the rate should be pretty close to what it was when the thread was started.

At current rates it looks like it is breaking down as $69.99 for the box and $51 for the shipping based on the 97.25 euros you are being told.  This seems similar to UK shipping costs.

Perhaps the previous cost was 94 not 84?

No I am certain it was 80-83 my mom(Since Im not 18 yet;p) was with me and checked it herself etc. when we put the right amount of money for it on paypal.  It has really risen about 14+ euro's since it became available

And yeah, I live in the Netherlands so indeed UK shipping costs are probaly the same or around the same

Well, it's gone down now by 2 euro lol...Still sucks tho that it is still quite a bit higher than before...Wish it had stayed lower Have fun with the kol models everyone else!

if you think that eu shipping costs are bad,then you can pity us aussies, our shipping costs(au$50) take the total price to au$120 and the au$ is stronger the us$.

Yeah, that was the block for me originally getting it. Thankfully I've managed to get family to pay for shipping, so I'm getting my Kol soon

Us Australians get ripped off with everything though. If you ever think you're paying too much for something, lend a thought to those of us down here with the dropbears and high prices :/

Someone asked me why I was getting the Collector's Edition.  I said that there was a lot of stuff in it, and that I could really use the game cd. He asked why the cd, and I said something about viruses taking over the internet and destroying all programming for the game, or something, and I would still have a copy.  He used a metephorical shotgun to blast holes in my story, so I said "Well... I want a KOL! 

And I realized, I am paying 80 dollers for a Kol!

Lupus same here If I would still buy the CE, the kol model and mousepad are the only things I like in the pack, But I might just buy an eve model instead since it's cheaper and larger...Like 30 euro's cheaper now the CE has risen in price Altho the kol is one of my favorite ships from any game

The Collector's Edition has NOT risen in price, though currency values have fluctuated ...

Currency fluctuated...Made it increase in price for some of us, its still the same, it has risen in price. And is the VAT etc. even in that calculation? Anyway, I'd love to have the CE, but now it has "increased in price" I no longer have the required amount of money for it, nor probaly will have until it's sold out(Knowing my luck)

Mine too. I build more of those cap ships than any others.  Those and Marzas.

Updates at all? What are the coupons for? I am torn between getting the CE (preordered a long time ago) and another game.... but don't have money for both.

The CE is pretty cool.....
