WC Community Skinning Project - Themed Skins

All the entries for the WinCustomize Community Skinning Project are fantastic and unique.  It is easy to see that the skinners have spent alot of time and effort in coming up with their designs.  No doubt the judges had to spend quite a few hours in looking at each one in order to make their selection.  Each entry is by any standards a winner and the skinners should be proud of their hard work.

The voting ended in a tie between two skins.  In trying to choose a winner the two still ended in a tie.  So the two co winners are:

I think it would not be fair for all the hard work that the skinners not selected did on their entries to not thank them for making an entry for the theme of the community project.   I'm am sure that all the WindowBlinds will find there way onto the desktops of lots of folks.  Thank you one and all.

Now that the selection is over it's time to open the project up to the community skinners.  Themed skins can be made for any WinCustmize Gallery Library.  Other then Wallpapers, Dreams and Screensavers all skins must use the graphics of the Theme.  The three exceptions should compliment the theme.

If you wish to make a skin for the Community Project just leave a reply on this thread.  I will update a list of skins and skinners as they are identified for each WindowBlind.  Multiple skins for all library and multiple skins by skinners for the projects are welcome. 

Once all the themed skins are uploaded I will put together a Theme Manager Suite.

Been working on some for Neptune as well. Trying to get Winstep themes and docks done for 3 different skins at the same time. |-)

Ok...QED stuff is done...just waiting for Xiandi's permissiom to upload. Working on the other stuff now. |-) Oh...and Karen...I know docks were done for your skin but I'm doing my own version...as well as a winstep theme for your skin.  :) I'll have a screenshot as soon as I have them close to finished.

I dont think there is any official permission needed in this case, but anyone making matching skins for my QED windowblind has permission to upload them whenever they are ready. :)

finished country yokels icons last night... will be uploading today on mothers pc,

xiandi, i wanted to ask you, do you want me to do an icon set for your skin, or are you happy to do your own ect?

you wont offend me if you say no, just need to know what yr thoughts are.. ill be doing karens next, im not sure if ross

wants me to do his, i will have to ask, he likes to do his own as well....

i think i will leave the cursors alone, this way it gives a chance for someone else to come in and volunteer to do them,

sometimes i get over passinate and say I will do two or more things, but I have to leave stuff for other people!!!

ps uvah, just saw the neptune smx ect up, ill go and comment on them now, ive been offline for over a week, but im getting phone connection

and internet next week i hope, cause i moved a bout a month ago now.

Kitty, I started working on the docks for Neptune last night -- even WITH you're PSD files, I have no clue how you do your grahpics.  What do you airbrush freehand onto the canvas?!  I'm totally amazed.  I don't think you have to worry about anybody trying to mimic your style--it's completely unreproducible.  I guess that's why you win and I just keep trying.

I'd offer to do more, but I have a bunch of life on my plate again right now (father with chemo-resistant cancer, house in foreclosure, pending bankruptcy, and the good news...first grandchild on the way)--I WANT to spend every minute skinning so I don't have to think about the other stuff, but I really need to put in as much work hours now as is possible so when the final moment comes down and I have to move, there's money for to rent a moving truck and rent.

When I get these docks done, I'll post a screenshot so you can tell me what you think.

Back to work for me for now.

No, I did not know until this moment, Kitty, I have been going through a bit of a bad patch the last few days, health wise, so have not been paying attention as I should have been, luckily my heart is the best part of me at the moment!!

A screenshot for Neptune has been added to the OP to show how the project is coming along.  One desktop will not be able to hold all the skins.   5* :thumbsup:

Uvah, I have only just started to make cursors, it is quite easy to figure out, even the animation tool (Aniutil.exe) is provided, in the Cursor Fx folder in C: program files - stardock, anyway it is on my computer, & all the states & settings are in behind the "New Package" button in the Cursor FX Control Panel. I did it by trial & error & I am no expert, I would not know where to start to make the gadgets you do.

I have just about finished the QED cursor I am doing & should upload tomorrow.
