WC Community Skinning Project - Themed Skins

All the entries for the WinCustomize Community Skinning Project are fantastic and unique. It is easy to see that the skinners have spent alot of time and effort in coming up with their designs. No doubt the judges had to spend quite a few hours in looking at each one in order to make their selection. Each entry is by any standards a winner and the skinners should be proud of their hard work.

The voting ended in a tie between two skins. In trying to choose a winner the two still ended in a tie. So the two co winners are:

I think it would not be fair for all the hard work that the skinners not selected did on their entries to not thank them for making an entry for the theme of the community project. I'm am sure that all the WindowBlinds will find there way onto the desktops of lots of folks. Thank you one and all.

Now that the selection is over it's time to open the project up to the community skinners. Themed skins can be made for any WinCustmize Gallery Library. Other then Wallpapers, Dreams and Screensavers all skins must use the graphics of the Theme. The three exceptions should compliment the theme.

If you wish to make a skin for the Community Project just leave a reply on this thread. I will update a list of skins and skinners as they are identified for each WindowBlind. Multiple skins for all library and multiple skins by skinners for the projects are welcome.

Once all the themed skins are uploaded I will put together a Theme Manager Suite.

You can't add the glass as a graphic and put it on top of everything? I think that is an option...it's been a while since I've made one.

Unfortunately not with animations. There isn't an option for putting them after everything else like you can do with multi-state images. I tried both ways. I figure I'll leave it that way. Let the glass show when no connection to the net is present and allow the animation when it is. Use it as a network state like you do with dual state images. That way I can have both. Rainy is in the works then I start on Neptune. I already started gathering the parts for it. Beautiful graphics. Kitty did good on that one.

Uvah....try including the glass in the animation itself in its different states. If you can use the actual animation there's no reason why you can't use the glass as well. It just has to be part of the animation.

Actually I found a solution. I modified the graphics .png of the smx by including the glass. Now I have both glass and the animation running behind it. Cool! Just some tweaking remains. This is so much fun. He he

The QED Widgetbar went up with the wrong file in it. Philly let me know and I fixed it. It is in moderation.

Does anyone know of a decent place to upload images for the forums. Palemoon is supposed to have a right click for imageshack. Did yesterday. Doesn't have it today and it is installed. Even right clicking on an image it doesn't show up.

There was an update to Sysmetrix. Version 3.45. you can get it here. http://www.xymantix.com

Weather works now and it is so cool!! The update fixed the weather. Go for it Kiity. Its awesome.

so out of the WHOLE community only 3 people are making things for these community suites? this is pretty bad guys...

i thought alot more people would be volunteering........

I remember once apon a time i had to seriously fight for a single spot to do anything on a community suite...

i am thinking of doing an icon packager for all the blinds entered and cursors, with permission of course (for all of this)

but i was hoping we'd get more of a response from the community to make stuff.....where is everyone? obviously not in this thread.

I know i shouldnt be bitching about this and i DO apologize, but it seems in recent years, most community projects turn into 3 people doing stuff. (or doing 20 differnt things due to lack of interest.)

i will kudo uvah (who is always so enthusiastic) redneck and blood of eden for doing stuff for this community project.

dont get me wrong, i seriously love community projects with a passion, because it gets me to work with people I might not have collaborated with

before ect, and gets me out of my shell and to meet and work with others...i just wished there was more of a turn out than this.

Just for the record Kitty...I have things in the works for many of the skins...but due to health problems plaguing me every day it takes me a bit longer to get things done. My enthusiasm is still alive and well...but my energy level has taken a big hit. But rest assured there a things coming from my camp.

WebGizmos your skins are always top notch, and this wouldn't be a community project without a skins from you.
