Here is what I wish is the text on the back of the box of the first expasion.
Elemental: War of Magic has now been expanded by tons of new features and content to make the game the most exiting fantasy strategy game ever:
-New resources. Fish (food), Wine (prestige) and several others.
-More advanced leaders for hire. The people you meet will now have a mind of their own. Some of them will only be hired if you prove worthy (have the right aligance, do a quest for the leader and so on)
-More complex minor nations. The minor nations will now have a mind of their own and might deciede to explore, expand, exploit and exterminate you
-Multi threaded AI that will ponder your doom while you do your move
-Many new monsters. An example is the aggresive Grendarlitis which has such a tough scaly skin that it can be used for armor. For each of these killed the town shop will have an extra scaly armor item.
-New buildings. Like the archer tower that will fire upon an incoming enemy. Each unit will loose a few hitpoints before the battle.
-Mercenaries. Hire units to harass your enemies without showing who is behind the scheme. Needs mercenary guild building.
-Better tactical battles and an overhauled magical system! Cast spells that will generate horrible beings in the lands of the enemy. Throw plauges on the enemy cities.
