Vacationer in Chief

-t

Looks like Obama has finally made it to Hawaii to join Michelle for yet another taxpayer paid vacation. He gets to celebrate Kwanza in Hawaii on the taxpayer dime while Asia spirals into war and Unemployment hovers at 10% Liberals made a big fuss about the Bush vacationing and yet they don't seem all that concerned about Little Lord Fauntleroy's vacationing. Cracks me up.

Oh god, how dare Obama make a vacation on Christmas.

I think the bush-fuss was more about the amount of time bush spent away from work.

Let's see a top 5 of vacationers in chief:

  1. W.Bush 2001 - 69 days
  2. Reagan 1981 - 42 days
  3. H.W.Bush 1989 - 40 days
  4. Obama 2009 - 26 days
  5. Clinton 1993 - 21 days

Happy Christmas (or X-mas or festival of light or whatever you call it nowadays)!

GWB did take a lot of work (and world leaders) to his ranch. Not sure if Obama owns the place he stays at in Hawaii. He's been president for a bit less than 2 years so he is doing well for the time spent. As for Bill Clinton, looks like he got his relaxation time the last place Hillary would expect, the Oval Office. IMO the first lady did her husband no favors taking that extravagant vacation in Spain (even if she did pay, the taxpayers paid for security) in her "let them eat cake" moment. As far as I'm concerned Obama can take a 365 day vacation each year until 2012.

Now what is Obama doing in Hawaii besides asking that he and his family are not "distrubed"?

I could go on and on but that not as funny as the stuff Colbert puts out is it. Anyway so glad Heil Stardock got where he's from striatened out he can give us a hand here.
