Transferring custom sovereigns and factions

Can someone tell me if there is a way to transfer my custom made sovereigns and factions between computers. I'm going from my main pc to my laptop and would rather not retype the back stories, etc.

Mods are just separate XML files somewhere in My Docs/My Games or AppData folders. At least SD said that they are.

So you could just move these XMLs and it should work, I believe.
