Elemental: Updating to the Release Version!

The official release date of Elemental is August 24th. However, some retailers have broken the street date and to make sure that those who helped us in the beta as well as those who pre-ordered it don’t miss out, we are going to release a pre-day 0 version of Elemental tonight.

This version is beyond the digital gold version that reviewers currently have but it is not quite the day 0 version either.  There’s been a lot of polish, tweaks, and other improvements to the game in this version.

If you did happen to get Elemental early from retail, you will want to load up Impulse (which was installed) and update to the latest version.

This version should go live in approximately 90 minutes.

You know, if you would learn to leave your reptilian mouth shut, you could have taken today off and release Monday. But noooooooooooooooo. You had to show you were better than everyone else. It was bad enough you posted this for a release... a RELEASE! Something that would be available early for users to, well, use, while others won't even post the month a patch will be available. Now you are posting about the HOUR the release will be available. My God man, when will you learn? The unwashed masses don't deserve respect or information on when they can get what they paid for! That is for the execs in their ivory towers! Obviously you aren't in your tower either, heathen!

You have shown yourself for what you are sir, a communist! Thinking of lowly folks that buy your products instead of yourself! Shame on you! You deserve every "where is the download" every 5 minutes you get.

Well, looks like it's time to reboot in to bootcamp and pray like there's no tomorrow. Which as it happens, there MAY NOT BE. Not a good one anyway.

I can already sense that this is going to be my dru.. game of choice for the next few years. If it fails on me, I will be sad. So very sad. :omg:

only a thought,

but if beta testers have the game now and preorderers the same...

so the release date is now and not the 24

with the only difference that the game we'll have now will be again a sort of last beta

So again some "physical" retailer breaks the street date. The solution to this odd problem appears to be for frogboy and a few of his cronies to babysit all weekend, and as soon as reports start coming in they punch up the digital pre-orders? It's a shame you guys have to suffer cause shops live in such hypocrisy (demanding one date for digital+physical, then breaking it themselves).

 

Anyway. Looking forward to gaming!
