Elemental: Updating to the Release Version!

The official release date of Elemental is August 24th. However, some retailers have broken the street date and to make sure that those who helped us in the beta as well as those who pre-ordered it don’t miss out, we are going to release a pre-day 0 version of Elemental tonight.

This version is beyond the digital gold version that reviewers currently have but it is not quite the day 0 version either.  There’s been a lot of polish, tweaks, and other improvements to the game in this version.

If you did happen to get Elemental early from retail, you will want to load up Impulse (which was installed) and update to the latest version.

This version should go live in approximately 90 minutes.

I pre-ordered the game 1 to 2 days ago on Impulse, but I don't see it available yet. Will it come up once you guys launch the game 1 hour from now?

ya i unistalled it thinking i should get a clean install.

So as a beta player will i be able to play it early still?

If not whatever ill sleep it off.

Hurray! It's almost 9am here, and I'm already with my students. Waiting eagerly to send instructions to my brother to begin download so I can play when the school day is over, :D. Hopefully my pre-order will have gone through. Ordered 2-3 days ago, but got no confirmation. Seemed like a common thing, so fingers crossed!

I've never been so excited for a game before. Stardock, you're amazing.

This question has been answered about 4 thousand times. What is it with you people and being able to make new threads, but completely incompetent when it comes t READING OTHER THREADS. Sheesh.   XO

yeah, very true, but in my case 1 or 2 hours sleep before work is a pretty common thing. sometimes I think I border on insomnia, lol, but I make up for it with naps during the day or long sleep-ins on days off.

I'm scared.  What if after months and months of waiting and reading every dev entry along the way...I don't like it?!?  8O I'll be crushed! I couldn't deal with another Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising fiasco!!! x_x

I keep checking my gmail spam, but there's nothing inside. Another thread said this wasn't unusual, so I just fired a query to Stardock Sales and sat on my hands, haha.
