My 300-600 comment was refering to everyone in the same area.  I.E you see 300 people right where you are, not on the whol server.  I know a server should spport many more than that, but expecting it o be able to put then all on the same screen is ridiculous.

I didnt play Terran Conflict, but I played Reunion, (only for a few days), and it seems like this game was created specifically for your tastes. Ok, you might not like it THAT much, but I guarantee that you WILL like it.

However, I consider EVE to be a better game than X3, IMO.

For me, part of the magic of the EVE universe is 1) its immensity, 2) the wonderfully interesting and expansive story behind it, and 3) the awesome ships.

I think the only times I may have experienced lag was when jumping between systems, and even then, jumping between systems takes a few seconds to change sessions.

Thats what realms are for, Storm.

The many people on the screen, dont make any difference to the server load. Servers dont display the graphics in your screen, neither use their CPU for your game.

Its only the # of people that are connected that overload the servers, nothing more.

Whiskey stop it, you make me miss EVE online.

What I absolutely loved in that game, except the 1,2, and 3 you mentioned, was the beautiful sceneries, the nebulas, and the distant stars, and generally the beautiful graphics of the game. It is a really magnificent game
