well, if someone doesn't particularly care what class they are, the faction could use a few Barbarians or Blademasters. We're very caster/DPS heavy and could use a few Tanks.

Ok, I updated the game successfully, and I created a new char. Its an assassin (female of course), and I took my god damn time creating her 
Anyway, I logged in (Lost City server), and took the time to learn the very noob basics of the game.
Oh god......I dunno how to say this, but the graphics, the gameplay, and the animation is terribad 
Yeah, I know, Storm will get pissed at me for saying that......*sigh* I'm sorry but the game far inferior to BotI, and I'm having trouble adjusting to it.
I didnt play much yet, so I will give it a few days, I hope it will catch my interest and get me hooked.

It is an anime-style graphics theme, so I can see why you're having issues with it, morph. Personally, i love it, but to each his own I suppose. There are certain settings that you may need to tinker with, but I'll have to check mine before I can tell you which ones and I'm not at home right now.
To talk to someone type one of the following in the chat bar at the bottom left of the screen. Make sure the bar is totally empty before you type.

/Aervanna
Whichever you do, put a space after it and write anything and they'll add you. (ImaLickYou and Kinley are my two chars, and I'm not at home now. Try to get Skidi or Aervanna, one of them should be on I think.)
To locate where they are in the game yo must first whisper like I described above and then right click thei name when they respond, and click Invite. That will invite them to your Squad and you'll see a blue or green dot on the minimap that shows their direction.
Squads have a maximum of 6 total members.

Morpheas: Note also that the game gets a bit more interesting after level 10, the first 10 levels are almost scripted for you. Well, the first 5 for sure. After that it's pretty much go wherever you want(As long as you don't attack anything with an orange name

For somebody just starting out I would recommend the Venomancer, your pet pretty much takes all the damage for you and I can catch you guys some pretty good ones so you have them as soon as you hit the level requirement. (At level 19 you can use the glacial walker, which is essentially a frozen stone golem with a damage boost ability, taunt, and a shield ability. Best pet I've found yet.) And level 19 is fairly easy to do. It can be done in 1 day, but will likely take 3 for someone who doesn't go at it for 10 hours at once.
One tip for everyone, keep your genie at or very near your own level, the longer you wait to level her, the more of a pain it becomes later. If anyone doesn't like the genie they are given, I have the Mirage stones to make 2 more. (Mirages are expensive though so please b sure which genie you want. Vitality based is good, but so are Dex or Str depending on the skills you're gonna teach it.
I'll need to be at home to describe genies in more detail. If you don't know where to get it do the following:
Go to your race's capitol. It will be:
Human: Etherblade
Untamed: City of the Lost
Winged Elves: City of the Plume
Tideborne: ...Well...Actually, IDK what that one's called...City of Raging Tides???
Anyway, once there, look at the minimap.
There are little circular buttons surrounding it.
press the one at the far right, near the bottom.
A list will appear at the left of the screen.
Find Watcher of the Earth on the list and double click it, a blue Icon should appear on the minimap. Follow it, choose Quest related when you talk to the Watcher and you will get your random Genie.

Storm: I am not talking about the graphic-style of the game, I am talking about the graphics of the game. I have the set ALL to maximum, with the max resolution of course, and they look DX 8.0 equivalent at best! (I would say DX7 equivalent, but maybe slightly better than that)
Also, this is the most unoptimized game I have ever seen. Like I said, its graphics are poor. Ok, lets assume I am fine with that. But its not just that. I just went to a city (left the starting area), where there were many players around (8-10 I would say). The game seems like it was running with low frame rate, so I decided to check. I opened a 3rd party program, and saw 13.5-15 FPS!!!
Jesus, considering its gfx quality, this game should be running at 200-300 FPS.
The only other game I have seen that was so unoptimized, was MS Flight Simulator X, that up to this day, even with its mediocre graphics, there is not a SINGLE card that can run it with more than 35 FPS, and that considering you have an ultra fast CPU.
This is intolerable for me. I am a demanding gamer, but can adjust to low graphics quality of a game, if it is really good, but low graphics AND poor performance is a no no for me 
Btw: If you are gonna say that my PC is weak for this game, I can run Crysis at high quality with max resolution, AA 4x & AF 16x with about 30 FPS (playable frame rate). Also Far Cry 2, NWN 2 and many other high quality graphics games with max details. I have a GTX 260, which is a very good card for DX9-10 games, and can run pretty much everything with max details and resolution, so yeah.....

Anyway, look above your health bar. There are 4 buttons.
Click the fist one whenever you go into one of the 4 cities I mentioned, or Archosaur. It temporarily turns graphics down. When you leave, click it again and make sure the 3rd button isn't green.(If it is, click it too.) the 3rd button removes the avatar of anyone not RIGHT next to you.
You will always always always have to use those two buttons in archosaur, that's the capitol of the whole game where everyone sets up shop. Even people with high end comps have to use those settings during prime gameplay hours. And most of the quests after level 20 are dispatched from that area.
Yeah, it's a pain, but overall those are the only places that generally happens. If you get that frame rate while in an unpopulated area, then it IS in fact your PC. (Unless you're on an overheated laptop...but then again, that's its own issue...)

Assuming NWN 2 is Neverwinter Nights 2, then I can play it with medium-level settings on my laptop, so there's a comparison.
Skidi: You see so many Venos and Clerics because they are the two most powerful classes in the early game. Later on, the Assassins, Blademasters, and Barbarians take over.

Anyone still interested after level 10, I've got materials to make some decent gear for all of you. (Anything made by a player is better than the version you buy) I should have the mats to fully outfit 2-3 people.

Yeah Storm, I know about that button. It automatically turns ALL details to the lowest setting, except for the textures. Allow me to say, that its pretty pathetic that the developers did that, instead of just optimizing the game just a little.
To understand the extent of it, (I see you've played NWN 2, good.) Imagine NWN 2 with Max details, and a city with 3 times more people than what I saw in Raging Tides (Tideborne's city), that can run on my PC with more 35 FPS, when in PW, it goes up to 14 FPS, LOL.
And if I have to turn down the settings of the already poor graphics to the lowest, to enter a city, (being ultra-ultra low), then forget it. Its really humiliating for me to do that.
Also, no its not my PC. I dont even have a laptop for gods sake. Its a C2D @ 3.2 GHZ, GTX 260 gfx card, and 4 GB of DDR2 memory, desktop PC.
And when I turned the graphics to the lowest (that pretty button you said, thats the first thing I tried, because tooltips said that it was to improve performance and decrease quality), in the city, it went up to 35 FPS, LMAO 
When I left the city, I hit it again, to increase quality, and went up to 39 FPS, with max details.
Like I said, if I have to do that, to get a playable frame rate, then forget it. This game, earns the special award of "Most unoptimized game of all time", de-throning MS Flight Simulator X.
I dunno what else to say, some gamers dont mind terribad gfx, while others have certain min requirements. I belong in that category, I cant stand terribad gfx, unless the game is Really good, and runs perfetly smooth of course.

Actually its 10 kills, and 4-5 minutes, thats how much it took me.
About LoL, I said it before, if you dont like DotA, then you will HATE this game. But if you like ANY other DotA-like game, even just a little, then you will LOVE it 
DotA-like games: League of Legends, Heroes of Newerth (I hear its really good), and maybe Demigod (I know, its not like DotA, but its at the same style, spawning creeps, arena-like, skirmish type of play etc).
Also, I strongly suggest that you try Battle of the Immortals, once the Open Beta starts (May 4th), it is so much better than PW (sorry, but it kinda is), the graphics and optimization are significantly better (never saw low frame rate), and its new!!!

Yes, in the capitols like I said, the frame rate drops to unplayable levels. Thats more than enough to drive me away. Again, sorry, but I really dont like it.
