NewKing_Medallion_Full There’s a big Impulse announcement on Wednesday so we’re going to get bumped to the following Thursday. I guess we’ll just be that much more polished.

Sorry about the wait guys.  The Impulse announcement is pretty cool though. I’ve been watching what they have in store. It’s one of those “Duh, why isn’t everyone doing this already?” type things. But IT can’t handle us, this and the Sins of a Solar Empire update next week too.

On the bright side, there will be a TOOONNN of new game info coming out this week.

Beta 1G was expected for February the 18 (Thursday), the following to the Wednesday 17. You mean 25 now?

Well, as long as you spoil us with new info to hammer your databases with threads and posts, everything fine (ok, people complaining that they still have to wait for Beta 2 and the usual stuff :\ ).

I know you've got a lot of story-related stuff you'll be revealing this week, but more info, screenshots and movies of the game itself and its features would make us all very happy.

I honestly couldn't care less about Impulse or Sins, but I'm happy for you humans....... and I can wait a day or two for the beta while I get over this cold-like/flu-like-mega-virus-that-recently-had-me-couging-up-bloody-goo-all-over-the-keyboard (CL/FLMVTRHMCUBGAOTK).

It's waaaaaaay too early for April Fools.  A beta update is getting bumped a week back, a -second- time, because of an announcement?  Something that takes all of five seconds to post a wall of text?  The Sins update was meant to be this week, wasn't it?  This is starting to get a little ridiculous.

Yeah. I'm thinking; nerf to the Diplomacy pirates, fixes for all the abilities that autocast with no target, and hopefully some of the balance fixes people have been asking for since the last update.

So just to clarify, the "we're" in "we're getting bumped" is beta 1G?

 

And to further clarify, this is the last beta version before beta 2, which is when those of us who aren't in yet but want to be should pre-order to get?

Just make sure that whatever you guys are doing with Impulse, it is something that I could easily turn off or otherwise ignore. Few things annoy me more than a dramatic change to the user interface, or radical change to how things work. More so if I very much liked how things worked before the change.

Regardless, I'll try to keep an open mind for things to come...

You're the CEO, can't you tell everyone to do both or is there not enough man power? I don't mind another week as time for more polish is a good thing, just curious though. Aside from man power maybe being an issue, what would one thing coming out have to do with the other?
