Disciple-class
For over 300 years since the Covenant Civil War, it was thought that the Covenant had been destroyed. Then five years ago, a massive fleet bearing the Covenant's banner attacked The Sangheili Alliance, Tau Empire, and Systems Alliance. The vessel that formed one the majority of these fleets was the Disciple-class. Disciple-class frigriates are very well crafted frigriates that allow for great indpendence of the ship. Armed with powerful lasers and a mass driver cannon, Disciples can ravage convoys and decimate escorts. While their thick armor and powerful shields allow them to handle most others weopons, they do not have defenses against missle attacks.
Deacon-class
The Deacon class was created to offset the Disciple's class lack of missle defense, the Deacon is a dangerous corvette. The corvette packs extra lasers and still contains a mass railgun. It does not have the range of the Disciple but it is still very good. Deacon's were created to handle missile bombers and frigates. However it trades shields and armor for the ECM equiment. When combine with Disciple frigates, they make for extremely dangerours hun ter-killer groups. Covenant fleets usaully spot a great number of these to protect thier more valuable ships.
Carpenter-class
The Covenant contruction ship, they have great distance and can noramally outrun almsot any ship. These ships were vital in securing resources and establishing satlites to help secure recently conquored systems. The ease of production allows almsot any planet to with a starbase to build these vessels. Their major draweback is that they have no offenseive or defensive systems of any kind.
Banshee fighter
Although normally an atmosphere fighter, these aircraft have been refiited with an enclosed canopy to allow them to defend planets from invaders in space. Armed with two lasers and a mass drive cannon, the Banshee is a prime attack fighter. It lacks defensive systems however, leaving it to rely on its wopeans and speed to survive.
Pilgrim-class
As missiles began to improve, the defense of the Deacon-class became ineffective and losses began to mount. To fix this problem a new ship was created. The Pilgrim-class features the latest in anti-misslile technology and allows greater survivability. It's weapeon system, while the same of that as the Deacon-class, is not powerful enough to deal with monderen ships of the same class. New research has begun to help increase firepower. While lacking in firepower, the Pilgrim-classes missile defense allow it to survive enough to eliminate its enemmies.
Missionary-class
The Missioonary-class helps the Covenant Empire expand by colonizing new worlds. They are vital in spreading their religion and converting native speices to join them. It is fast to allow quick travel and large enough to allow the new settlers to live well on their way to there destination. They allow the Covenant quickly expand and setup base of operation rather quickly in a system. They are completly unarmed whci leaves them for easy targets for pirates and enemmies alike.
